D-Link Wi-Fi6 routers at Best BuyNow is the perfect time to think about getting a new router for your home for two very good reasons. During the recent holiday, many of us received products that will put additional burden on our already stretched-to-the-limit router’s capability to allocate bandwidth to all devices in our home. Also, CES 2022 will bring us announcements of many new technologies we’ll introduce to our homes in the upcoming year. Replacing your old router with one of D-Link’s newest Wi-Fi6 routers is not only going to solve current bandwidth issues, it will future proof your home. D-Link has provided Wi-Fi6 routers for us to give away in this contest: read this article to learn how to enter for a chance to win.

Prepare to introduce new tech to your home

Every home needs reliable Wi-Fi. We need fast downloads or we end up with horrible buffering in the middle of shows that ruin suspense and enjoyment and jittery video while gaming that gets our characters killed over and over again. We also need fast uploads so we can share content when we need to and not mistakenly post things twice because we thought the first one didn’t go through. Even if your internet service provider is doing a great job of taking information to and from your home, your router is doing the hard part of getting data to and from you devices.

D-Link routers have been making home networking solutions for many years. However, if you are still using a router from three or more years ago, you may be thinking that technology is not doing the job it should. Don’t blame that old router! It was designed for a different world, a slower world, a less connected world. How many devices have your added to your home since that router arrived?  Every new phone, new tablet, new TV, new smart camera puts a strain on your network. New D-Link routers are designed to manage that traffic better than ever.

CES 2022 will invite us to add more new tech to our homes

From televisions to smart locks, CES 2022 will have announcements about the newest tech from major manufacturers all over the world. And a lot of that tech will require a Wi-Fi connection. You could try to connect all of the tech you just got over the holidays, and all of the tech you’ll purchase this year, using your old router. It may work fine for you. You may not even be too bothered if shows stutter, or you get killed off early once in a while during a game, or kicked out of meeting in MS Teams or on Zoom. Conversely, you may hate those things as much as I do. A new D-Link router will likely help … especially a Wi-Fi6 router, equipped to handle the demands of tech friendly homes like yours and mine. Read about how to enter to win one.

  2. The new D-Link router could solve the lagging Wifi that happens occasionally when multiple people are on a video call at the same time.

  3. One huge networking issue we’ve had at our house is coverage. Certain areas have very weak signal, the connection drops, etc. A stronger router would hopefully solve that!
