  35. I would love the HP OMEN laptop to improve my gaming as the specs are amazing. You can never go wrong with Intel processors. I am a very novice gamer ( I rocked at Pong in the 80’s), so anything from Best Buy will improve my abilities. I was at your Nanaimo store last week looking at desktops, but any of the Dell, the Acer, or the MSI gaming laptops would be perfect too!

Practice leads to skills which definitely is a competitive advantage, but I’m going to go with having a PC with the highest FPS coupled with the latest GPUs is what provide me with the greatest competitive advantage. I would love to have the Philips Hue Play Light Bar Starter Kit, as it provides great lighting for gaming and watching movies.

  46. Having a really great pair of headphones gives me the edge so i am able to hear things like footsteps in a shooter for example. A gaming monitor with a high refresh rate and high resolution would be something i would add.

    So, how to answer the questions…..that is a really tough question with so many answers.

    1. What gives me the competitive edge? Well, I guess the one thing that comes to mind is I like to take my time in games and explore….get to know the worlds like I know my own neighborhood, memorizing them visually so I “try” not to have to use the map so often. But I also like the fact I don’t simply go in guns blazing….but moreso in a slow and steady process, usually being a little more careful about “what’s around the corner” and trying to sneak up on my enemies, etc. (I don’t play much online multiplayer as I just get destroyed in literal seconds as I believe there is too much cheating going on with those types of games or simply just too little “fair” programming when the matchmaking is happening. But when I enjoy my solo gaming, I get much satisfaction (even if I lose from time to time) 🙂

    2. As for the product selection. Again, just so much to choose from. But a “Dream” computer would be either a desktop or laptop that could certainly run “smoothly” and quickly the Unreal engine 4 (and the new “5” coming up) and perfectly run a game I am currently working on with a company. But on a more personal side, I would LOVE a system to be able to enjoy the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020……that would be amazing <3
    So, I would "presume" I would be looking into something like Dell G5 Gaming PC – Abyss Grey (Intel Core i7 9700/512GB SSD/16GB RAM/GeForce RTX 2060) or even higher 🙂
