Thinkware Dash Cams are easy to setup and use devices that deliver a wide range of benefits. Many people are aware that they could use the captured footage from a dash cam to help establish their innocence if they get into accident. However, they may not be aware of some of the other amazing benefits dash cams offer. You’ll find out for yourself how great these are if you read the information below before entering this contest. And if you enter this contest, you might win one of eight new Thinkware dash cams.

Thinkware dash cams are easy to use

I’ve sent Thinkware dash cams to various writers and there are a few commonalities across these reviews. First of all, they all found the installation and set up of the device extremely simple. For example, Dave Neufeld wrote, “Getting up and running with the Thinkware F70 Dashcam could scarcely be much easier.” In her review, Shelly Wutke said, “… it couldn’t have been easier.” Matt Paligaru explains how easy it is to install the front camera of the F200 he was sent then stated, “Installing the rear camera is just as easy.” And, after testing the F800 Brad Moon stated, “First up, installation of the dash cam was easy.”

See a pattern here? Multiple different independent reviewers, using different Thinkware dash cam models, all found that these are easy to set up. Furthermore, they all had no issues with using them as intended.

Why would you want a dash cam

Another commonality across all of these reviewers was what they saw as an important reason to get a dashcam: insurance claims. No one likes to be falsely accused of causing an accident. Dash cam footage has been used by many people to prove their innocence when the evidence was unclear or especially when the other party in the accident was not honest. Dash cam footage has also been used to help people get out of traffic tickets issued erroneously. “I didn’t go through a red light, officer; and, I can prove it!”

If you have teenagers, then a dash cam is a great motivator for them to driver responsibly: everything will be recorded and reviewed when the car is returned. Speaking of reviewing footage: you can also do this after a week of driving to help self-diagnose bad habits and become a safer driver youself.

Of course, you are likely familiar with one other benefit: capturing amazing or shocking events. I live on a tiny island, where the deer outnumber people 3 to 1, so I would likely capture a ton of footage of deer crossing the road if I had one. But YouTube has many examples of people capturing really cool footage like fireballs and meteorites—all thanks to owning a dashcam.

Thinkware dash cam contest rules and regulations

Good Luck

  1. I like the Thinkware U1000 4K UHD Dash Cam with Rear Camera & Wi-Fi. I hope to stay safe especially when backing up as my current vehicle doesn’t have cameras.

  2. F200DG, Wildlife many deer so so many deer on the highways. Sometimes hard to prove for insurance that you were dodging a deer or a moose when you hit the ditch

  3. The Thinkware’s Q800PRO dash cam is my favorute and I would hope to catch some close call accidents but no damage.

  4. I would like the Q800 or F800, and would want to capture my EPIC commute through the mountains with animals (bg horn sheep, elk, moose, black bear, grizzly bear, wolves and sometimes lynx), as well, for the purpose of any insurance scammers out there.

  5. My favourite is the Thinkware Q800PRO dashcam. I would hope to capture images at night with Super Night Vision as I drive a lot at night and it would capture any incidents on the road so I could use them in court.

  6. The 800 Pro would be the very best choice for me! I drove a car my whole life up until 6 years ago when my first was born and then a year later we switched to an SUV as my then 14 year old cars electrical kept failing and repairs were getting too costly. I absolutely love driving my suv but I don’t have a very good idea at all of what’s to the left, right and front undersides of my vehicle. Often I find myself nudging meridians, going over curbs, and once I ended up scraping the side of my vehicle. I would be thrilled to win this dash cam as it has excellent front vision. It truly is the perfect silent witness and it would give me so much peace of mind too. Thanks for the chance to win . @plumerea

  7. Thinkware F800 Full HD 1080p Dash Cam & Rear Camera with Wi-Fi & GPS is my choice; it would serve my needs when my car is parked in public places and I need to keep an eye on things, and I’d also love to see where I’m going and what I’ve left behind, when I’m driving.

  8. I’m always trying to capture photos of wildlife while riding and I think a Q800PRO2K would do a wonderful job.

  9. I like the X700. It is simple to install and simple to use. With a front and rear camera I feel that my vehicle would be well protected.

  10. I’d love to have the Thinkware Q800PRO 2K Dashcam to capture videos of wildlife in the North Country of Magnetewan

  11. I’d love to own the F800, and would love to capture some wildlife on a weekend up north getaway. Would rather not catch them in dash cam footage as I’m driving. Thanks for the chance!

  12. I’m not sure which one I would like best as I dont know much about them at all. I think it would be very interesting to own one and capture wildlife, crazy drivers ect. Thank you for the opportunity!

  13. Thinkware F200 Dashcam with its own mobile app, would allow me to view my vehicle when parked outside my home for peace of mind against vandalism or theft.

  14. I like the Thinkware F800 Full HD 1080p Dash Cam & Rear Camera with Wi-Fi & GPS for its ability to monitor any front or rear end accidents.

  15. The Thinkware M1 Motorsport dashcam looks great! I would definitely add this to my motorcycle and I hope that it could add insurance relief if I should ever avoid an accident and have some damage to my motorcycle. I always worry that accident avoidance will either put me at fault or liable for my own repairs.

  16. The Thinkware’s Q800PRO dash cam is my favourite and I’d hope to capture some interesting wildlife on the way to Tremblant

  17. Thinkware X700 for its red light camera warning and rear camera features. I hope it will capture proof in case of accidents, as well as great video of trips to the cottage

  18. The Thinkware Q800PRO 2K has every feature I could want, including lane-drift alerts and support for rear-camera recording could be handy to capture any evidence during a collision.

  19. I would capture all my travels and really like the Thinkware F800 PRO 2 Channel FHD 1080P WiFi Thinkware Cloud Dash Cam 32GB SD Card

  20. Thinkware F800 pro camera because it has awesome features such as lane departure warning and collision warning as well as providing a stellar dash cam picture.

  21. I like the Q800Pro with the 2K video quality, you get more detailed footage for any proof of accidents. It’s a great all in one dashcam with front & rear camera and optional GPS! This would be great to have!

  22. I like the Thinkware U1000 4K UHD.Dash Cam — it would be useful for providing evidence in the event of a car accident.

  23. My favourite would be the Thinkware X700 for its red light camera warning and rear camera features. I hope it will capture proof in case of accidents, as well as great video of holiday driving trips.

  24. I’d love to try the Thinkware U1000 model and leave it on when I leave my vehicle parked at a back lake sometimes. I’d love to see how often animals would come by and check out the vehicle while we’re off fishing.
