The circuit is primed for the next installment of the smash hit racing sim franchise Project Cars. Bandai Namco has confirmed that we will be returning to the track with Project Cars 3 this summer. The latest instalment will take the checkered flag on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC when it launches. The series boasts some of the most authentic, beautiful, and technically advanced features in the Autosport genre. The new entry in the series looks to get driver’s engines roaring with a host of new features from new career mode to deep customization. Let’s hop into the driver’s seat and take a look at what the newly announced racer has to offer.
High octane racing
Project Cars 3 comes with a packed roster of cars with over 200 elite-brand road and race cars. Through various races and challenges you gain XP and credit to help build your car collection. You’ll also have 140 global circuits to compete on with 24-hour cycles and 4-season, all-weather racing.
New to Project CARS 3
The latest entry in Project Cars includes a host of new features with a deep career mode, handling upgrades and wider customization options. The career mode looks to provide players with new challenges and intense racing showdowns. You’ll need to excel in order to own the podium and continue to earn authentic performance parts. Upgrading your ride creates handling and performance differences that you can actually feel through the gameplay. Customization options are now available for cars, including wheels, tires, rims, and more. You can also create your own racing hero persona and become a track legend.
In the driver’s seat
The developers of the game, Slightly Mad Studios, have been working to make this the most accessible game in the series yet. They have reworked the controls, assists, and handling. They’ve even introduced a whole new “First Time User Experience” so everyone can have a great time at the track. Whether you are a first-time driver or a seasoned pro everyone will find automotive fun in the newly revamped experience.
Authentic motorsport
Project Cars 3 looks to double down on the look and feel that drivers crave. A new emphasis on the sense of speed and car physics will add a new level of realism. Crash effects have been reimagined along with authentic car-contact and enhanced AI. The Project Cars franchise has always been a leader when it comes to car modeling and graphics. The incredible, nearly picture-perfect visuals look to continue into the third instalment of the series. With weather effects, day/night cycles we are sure to be treated to a visual feast.
