Sony wasted no time revealing incredible games right off the bat, with the return of fan favourite in the sequel to Kena. Other major announcements dropped, from Ghost of Yōtei: Legends to John Wick, God of War Trilogy Remake, and more. Below is a complete rundown of every major reveal.
Kena: Scars of Kosmora

Release Date: TBA 2026
The first reveal was a sequel to one of my favourite indie titles: Ember Lab returned with a first look at Kena: Scars of Kosmora. Kena travels to a mysterious island plagued by corruption to search for a cure for her own affliction and reconnect with someone from her past. In the trailer, we got a look at lush environments, fun spirit companions, and larger-scale boss encounters. This sequel looks both more ambitious and more intense than its predecessor, and I can’t wait to see more.

Resident Evil: Requiem

Platform: PlayStation 5
Release Date: February 27, 2026
Capcom showed off more next entry in its legendary survival horror franchise ahead of its launch. The tone is much darker and more psychologically driven than recent instalments. Requiem delivers a new dual-protagonist system that blends psychological horror with high-intensity action. Newcomer Grace Ashcroft brings a slower, tension-filled survival experience built around limited resources and pure dread, while Leon S. Kennedy returns with a more combat-driven approach. The contrast between the two playstyles keeps the pacing fresh, shifting from quiet, nerve-wracking exploration to explosive action sequences. With confirmed PS5 Pro support and the ability to toggle between first- and third-person perspectives, Requiem is shaping up to be one of the franchise’s most technically ambitious and tonally layered entries yet.

I can’t wait to go hands-on with this supernatural thriller.

Its dark aesthetic and weighty melee combat stood out immediately and I’m excited to learn more about the game.
Beast of Reincarnation

Hot off its deep-dive dive into the game from the Xbox Developer_Direct event, GAME FREAK had more to share. The story follows a lone warrior and their loyal dog companion as they navigate a fractured world. Combat appears grounded yet fluid, blending exploration with character-driven storytelling. The one-person, one-dog dynamic gives the adventure a strong emotional core, and it looked more stunning than ever in motion during the State of Play.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer

Platform: PlayStation 5
Release Window: TBA 2026
Star Wars: Galactic Racer reinvents arcade racing through the lens of the Star Wards Outer Rim. This high-stakes, runs-based racer looks fast, chaotic, and packed with personality, featuring outlaw circuits across dangerous planets in a galaxy far, far away. The footage showed intense drift-heavy gameplay, explosive hazards, and ships that feel more “smuggler garage” than polished Republic tech. As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I absolutely cannot wait to jump behind the controls and see how this fresh spin on the franchise plays out.

If you’ve been waiting for a return to form with a fresh coat of polish, this looks incredibly promising.
Silent Hill: Townfall

Platform: PlayStation 5
Release Window: TBA 2026
Silent Hill: Townfall leans hard into atmosphere and psychological horror. The shift to a full first-person perspective makes exploration feel intimate and unsettling, while a new CRTV device cleverly reimagines the franchise’s iconic radio mechanic. Combat looks tense and reactive, with enemies dynamically responding to sound and player decisions. Even with a new protagonist and setting, it still feels unmistakably Silent Hill: eerie and deeply unsettling.
