Nintendo’s latest Partner Showcase put the focus on third-party games, with a steady stream of announcements for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. In about 30 minutes, Nintendo ran through new reveals, release dates, demos, and upgrade details, making it clear that Nintendo Switch 2 has a lot of third-party support on the way.

The show opened with Orbitals, a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, and didn’t slow down much from there. Games coming out soon were mixed in with titles planned for later this year and into 2026, with familiar publishers like Capcom, Square Enix, Bethesda, and Bandai Namco sharing the stage alongside smaller teams bringing new ideas to Nintendo hardware.

There was a lot covered in a short amount of time, so it’s easy to miss details if you blinked. Below is a breakdown of the biggest announcements from today’s Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase.

Orbitals launches this summer as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive

The showcase opened with Orbitals, an intergalactic two-player co-op puzzle platforming adventure launching exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 this summer. You play as Maki and Omura as they venture beyond the deadly Storm Wall to save what remains of their home in a retro anime-inspired universe.

The game is built around teamwork, with asymmetric co-op that works in local split-screen or online through GameShare. Solving puzzles and navigating hazards depends on communication and coordination, with each player using different tools to manipulate the environment and open new paths forward.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 3, bringing the second entry in Square Enix’s remake series to Nintendo hardware. After escaping Midgar, Cloud and his allies head into the wider world to hunt down Sephiroth, a figure from Cloud’s past with plans for the planet.

The game expands into larger regions with exploration, Chocobo travel, and combat that blends action and strategy. Side activities are spread across the world, and an optional boost setting is available if you want to reduce difficulty and focus more on the story.

Pragmata launches April 24 with a demo now available

Capcom confirmed Pragmata will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on April 24. The game follows spacefarer Hugh Williams and his android companion Diana as they attempt to escape a hostile lunar research station controlled by a dangerous artificial intelligence.

Combat mixes traditional shooting with real-time hacking. During fights, Diana hacks enemy armour through a grid-based system, opening up weak points for Hugh to exploit. A playable demo is available on the Nintendo eShop, and a Diana amiibo is also planned.

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition launches on Nintendo Switch 2 February 24

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition brings the open-world RPG to Nintendo Switch 2, marking the series’ first appearance on a Nintendo platform. The release includes the base game, six official add-ons, and more than 150 Creation Club items.

Set in the post-apocalyptic Commonwealth, the game gives you the freedom to shape your character and decide how you approach combat, exploration, and settlement building. Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition launches digitally on February 24, with a physical release planned for April 28.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launches May 12 on Nintendo Switch 2

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on May 12. Set in 1937 between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, the story sends Indy from Marshall College to locations like the sunken temples of Sukhothai as he uncovers the mystery behind the Great Circle.

Gameplay blends exploration, puzzle solving, and encounters built around Indy’s whip and quick thinking, with a focus on hands-on interaction and cinematic storytelling. The game launches both physically and digitally on May 12.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is also on the way to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. The updated version features improved visuals, enhanced performance, and a modernized presentation while keeping the full scope of the original game intact. The release includes both the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine expansions, letting you explore Cyrodiil and its many storylines in one complete package.

Resident Evil Requiem launches February 27 on Nintendo Switch 2

Resident Evil Requiem launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on February 27. The story follows FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and returning character Leon S. Kennedy, with their paths intersecting as events unfold.

You can switch between first-person and third-person perspectives at any time and choose from multiple difficulty options. A themed Resident Evil Requiem Edition Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller releases the same day, with character amiibo arriving later this summer.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection launches March 13

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 13. Set in a world where monsters face extinction, the story focuses on Riders and their bonds with monster companions known as Monsties.

You can raise and customize Monsties through systems like the Rite of Channeling and Habitat Restoration. A playable demo is available now on Nintendo eShop, with save data carrying over to the full game.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales launches June 18

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 18. Developed by the team behind Octopath Traveler, the action RPG follows Elliot and his fairy companion Faie as they attempt to lift a curse threatening the kingdom.

Combat focuses on real-time action with multiple weapon types, Magicite upgrades, and Faie’s abilities shaping how fights play out. The story unfolds across four different ages, with changes to the world and Elliot’s skills over time.

Nintendo Switch 2 updates and returning favourites

Several familiar games are also getting updated or arriving on Nintendo Switch 2 for the first time. Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 Edition adds higher resolution visuals, improved performance, and additional effects. Players who already own the original version can upgrade at no cost.

Valheim arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 later this year, bringing its Viking-themed exploration and survival gameplay with online support for up to nine players. Tokyo Scramble also launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on February 11, focusing on stealth-based survival deep beneath Tokyo with GameShare support.

Anime, action, and story-driven games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch

Digimon Story Time Stranger launches July 10 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, featuring more than 450 Digimon and non-linear evolution paths. Kyoto Xanadu arrives this summer, blending action RPG combat inside a massive labyrinth with character growth outside of it.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok also joins the lineup, launching July 9 on Nintendo Switch 2. The action RPG takes place in the Sky Realm and features real-time combat with a large cast of playable characters. You can play through the story on your own or team up with up to three others locally or online for co-op battles against large-scale enemies.

Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse launches February 19 on Nintendo Switch, delivering a standalone supernatural mystery. Turok: Origins arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 this fall, while Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters brings arcade-style soccer action to Nintendo Switch later this year.

Classic collections and legacy titles expand on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo also used the showcase to outline how classic games are being rolled out across Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Super Bomberman Collection is available now on both systems, bundling seven classic Super Bomberman games across 12 versions, including localized releases of Super Bomberman 4 and Super Bomberman 5 that were previously unavailable outside Japan. The collection also adds a new Boss Rush mode and supports GameShare for multiplayer.

Nintendo also confirmed the launch of two new retro lines, Console Archives and Arcade Archives 2. Console Archives begins later today on Nintendo Switch 2 with Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos and Cool Boarders, while Arcade Archives 2 launches with Rave Racer on Nintendo Switch 2. A separate Arcade Archives release of Rave Racer is also coming to Nintendo Switch. Nintendo says more titles will be added to both lines over time, including Doraemon and Sonic Wings Special.

More games on the way for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch

The Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase wrapped up with a fast-paced montage of additional games confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. These titles span a wide range of genres and release windows, helping fill out an already busy release schedule over the coming months.

Disney Dreamlight Valley – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches March 25, bringing improved performance and visual upgrades to the life-sim adventure. PGA TOUR 2K25 follows quickly on February 6, while WWE 2K26 arrives March 13 with a massive roster and new match options. Tactical stealth fans can look forward to Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun on March 18.

Several story-driven and offbeat games were also part of the lineup. Scott Pilgrim EX launches March 3 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, followed by Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown on February 18. Goat Simulator 3 arrives April 1 on Nintendo Switch 2, while Another Eden Begins brings its time-spanning RPG adventure to Nintendo platforms later this summer.

Strategy and RPG fans weren’t left out either. Culdcept Begins – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches July 16, while Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition arrives May 22. Rounding out the montage, Reanimal brings its co-op horror adventure to Nintendo Switch 2 on February 13.

A busy year ahead for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch

This Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase laid out a packed slate of third-party games for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, with Nintendo Switch 2 taking on a growing share of upcoming releases. Between upcoming launches, demos already available, and AAA games arriving through spring, summer, and into 2026, there’s no shortage of games on the calendar.
