CES sign at CES 2026

A show like CES is like a stage and audition for the latest technology across the globe, which is what makes picking favourites tough. We come across so many products covering the show floor in multiple locations in Las Vegas that we can go through the feeling of being curious, surprised, befuddled, and engrossed all in one go while walking around and checking things out.

But when you have to pick some standouts, you do your best to highlight them. This list isn’t so much a “best of”, but rather a collection of products that have a lot to offer in both usability and lifestyle. They stand out because they’re not only interesting but some hands-on time also showed us they have the capability to deliver something special. Here’s some of the latest tech innovations that have got each of us excited.

LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV

LG w6 evo Wallpaper TV

LG first introduced Wallpaper TV in 2017, and now it’s back combining a focus on style and aesthetics with picture quality. The OLED TV sits flush to the wall and works wirelessly with the Zero Connect Box that can be placed up to 10 metres away for a cleaner setup. You get LG’s Hyper Radiant Color Technology, with colours that pop on screen, improved blacks, and ultra brightness. When showcasing artwork from LG Gallery+, your own photos, or even generative AI creations, the TV looks like a painting. Wallpaper TV has powerful processing, too, with support for a 4K 165Hz refresh rate and Auto Low Latency Mode, making it suitable for gamers. There’s also the fan-favourite webOS platform that now works with Voice ID for a more personalized dashboard experience. With integrated Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot, this is an ultra-smart and gorgeous display for the living room. – Christine Persaud

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold hands-on at CES 2026.

Foldable phones aren’t unusual anymore given how phone manufacturers keep making them, but unfolding twice into a 10-inch tablet is something else. The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold launched in December 2025 in various Asian markets but is set to reach the United States next. After that, we’ll have to see. Either way, the device felt impressive in both build quality and functionality in my brief hands-on time with it, courtesy of an AMOLED screen that feels right in line with Samsung’s other mobile devices. While it shares many of the same specs as the Galaxy Z Fold7, it also feels like a very different device. – Ted Kritsonis

Shokz OpenFit Pro open-ear earbuds

Shokz OpenFit Pro on a woman

For those who don’t like in-ear buds, open-ear options are a popular alternative. Shokz has a solid reputation in this space, with runners especially loving the design that doesn’t plug their ears, is comfortable to wear, and maintains a level of situational awareness. The Shokz OpenFit Pros feature Open-Ear Noise Reduction, which uses a combination of three mics, a new speaker design, and an Ear Adaptive algorithm to soften unwanted background noises. You’ll get the best performance in settings with moderate noise, like gyms, offices, and coffee shops. But I gave them a try at the show, and they worked surprisingly well given how loud my surroundings were in the convention centre. They aren’t going to rival in-ears if you’re looking for the ultimate in noise cancellation, but they do a good job. Plus, even with using air conduction, audio quality is impressive thanks to Shokz’s SuperBoost technology that improved overall sound and bass.– Christine Persaud

Plaud.AI NotePin S

Plaud.AI Note, Note Pro, and Note Pin S at CES 2026.

It may be more convenient to use the recorder app on your phone to record conversations, meetings, interviews, etc., but Plaud’s NotePin S is a wearable pin that can capture that audio with excellent clarity. More than that, the onboard AI not only transcribes everything, it can tailor the processing to what you want. Is it a concise summary, or a set of actionable bullet points? Do you need it to separate to-do’s between whomever spoke in the recording? It can do that across multiple languages and the companion app works the same on iOS or Android. You’re limited to 300 minutes per month unless you pay for a subscription. – Ted Kritsonis

Asus ROG Kithara Planar Magnetic gaming headset

Asus ROG Kithara gaming headset

Gaming headsets often focus primarily on the features you need for a fantastic gaming experience, including responsive audio, a good boom mic, solid noise cancelling, and a comfortable fit for long gaming sessions. So, it’s nice that the new ROG Kithara headset puts audio quality front and centre, too. As a hi-fi planar magnetic gaming headset, it’s designed in conjunction with Hifiman to offer an immersive, audio-grade experience for gamers, complete with a full-band MEMs boom mic. It promises minimal distortion with deep bass and crisp treble. I tried them in an enclosed booth with music playing from YouTube on a connected computer, and they sound fantastic. I played a track I know well, Radiohead‘s “Creep,” and it sounded good enough to rival non-gaming hifi headphones. The one downside is that this is a wired headset. But for PC gamers, it’s a great option that comes in around the same price as high-quality wireless headsets. You can connect it to a DAC or amplifier for even better sound or use USB-C and 3.5mm connections direct to laptops, tablets, smartphones, and more. – Christine Persaud

XbotGo Falcon

XbotGo Falcon AI camera at CES 2026.

The XbotGo Falcon is an AI-powered sports camera designed to automatically track and record games without manual operation. Weighing 810 grams with a variable tripod (up to four metres), it uses dual lenses and computer vision to follow play across ten sports, from hockey to baseball. The system can lock onto specific players via jersey numbers and handles recording through 20GB free cloud storage or local microSD cards up to 1TB. It also livestreams to platforms like YouTube and Facebook, compiling AI-generated highlights on demand. With no subscription fees, the Falcon targets parents, coaches, and amateur leagues seeking broadcast-quality footage without the traditional camera work. – Ted Kritsonis

Roborock Saros Rover robot vacuum

Roborock Saros Rover robot vacuum on stairs.

Roborock always has some of the most unique and innovative robot vacuums on the show floor, and this year was no exception. The Saros Rover was an attention-getter a robot vacuum with two wheels for not only climbing stairs but also cleaning them. It can reach and lift, raising and lowering its wheel legs independently to jump over items, make turns, sudden stops, and directional changes. A demo of the vacuum dancing around demonstrated just how agile it is with human-like movements. Integrated AI, motion sensors, and 3D spatial information helps it navigate your home with ease. The best part is that this isn’t just a concept vacuum, Roborock is working on actually bringing it to market. – Christine Persaud

Dnsys X1 exoskeleton

Dnsys X1 exoskeleton on man at CES 2026.

I wore the Dnsys X1 AI-powered exoskeleton for two hours walking the show floor and it did help me feel lighter on my feet. Made up of a belt and leg harnesses running on electric motors, the X1 can drive up to 1.2 horsepower of assistance. Over time, it learns your gait while walking and running, adjusting power demand itself or letting you do it with simple up and down buttons. Modes like Assist enable easier movement while Workout takes even more strain away when you want to get active. Those with mobility challenges might feel a new lease on an active life wearing one of these with a range of up to 20km per charge. – Ted Kritsonis

Samsung Freestyle+ AI-powered portable projector

Samsung Freestyle+ portable projector

The Samsung Freestyle portable projector was introduced a few years ago, but this latest iteration really improves on the experience. First, it’s twice as bright as its predecessor at 430 lumens, making it easier to view in brighter environments. It also boasts smarter AI power now, with features like AI OptiScreen that can adjust the picture to different places where you want to project. 3D Auto Keystone corrects distortion when you project on non-flat surfaces, like in corners, curtains, or angled walls. As someone who lives in a smaller home with minimal open white walls on which to project, this is a game-changer. I saw several demonstrations of how this works and it’s impressive. I also love the 180° rotating design that allows you to project at any angle, even on the ceiling. As icing on the cake, the Samsung Freestyle+ comes with Samsung Vision AI Companion, also found in the latest TVs, along with Samsung TV Plus and Samsung Gaming Hub access through the built-in OS. The projector doesn’t operate on a battery, but you can use an optional battery pack. It does, however, come with a built-in 360° speaker. – Christine Persaud

Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable

Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable concept at CES 2026.

This concept laptop portends a fascinating future where screen sizes aren’t necessarily fixed. The Legion Pro Rollable is a gaming laptop prototype that starts out with a default 16-inch PureSight OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Equipped with a dual-motor, tension-based mechanism, simply pressing a button expands the screen laterally on both sides to either a 22-inch “Tactical Mode” or 24-inch “Arena Mode”. Seeing it in action almost feels like a magic trick as it rolls to reveal the additional screen space. While the focus is on gaming for now, there is every reason to believe Lenovo will consider the technology for its IdeaPad and ThinkPad laptops. – Ted Kritsonis

Aukey MagFusion DeskHive 5X Pro desktop charging station

Aukey MagFusion DeskHive in hand

I’m a sucker for great portable chargers, always on the hunt to find the perfect one. While the Aukey MagFusion DeskHive 5X Pro desktop charging station isn’t a portable charger for use on the go, it’s the perfect accessory for the desktop. Plug it in then charge all your devices in one spot. It has four wired outputs, including a fixed USB-C port and USB-A port along with two retractable USB-C cables that neatly fit into the unit when not in use. The fifth charging option is a Qi2 25W wireless charging pad. Measuring just 3.76 x 3.76 x 3.07 inches, a smart display shows real-time power output for each connected device along with total system output. GaN technology means you get 200W total output with more efficient charging. There’s also charging safety features like short-circuit, over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature, and over-charging protection. This is a must-have for the desktop. – Christine Persaud

More where that came from

We could’ve added even more to this list but we’ve also done a fair bit in covering other gear you might like. The latest smart glasses are a unique set of pairs in a burgeoning category. Health tech and nutrition were a key fixture on the show floor with really interesting applications that could prove helpful in staying healthy. Not to mention the wild robot vacuums and home tech cooking up a storm. Plus, we could see at least two of the content creator devices making this list for how innovative they are.

Don’t miss the latest highlights from CES 2026.
