  17. 1. I’m currently lacking a competitive edge, due to running 70 fps on a 60hz monitor. I’m a designer by trade, gamer for fun — so I have to prioritize IPS panels and colour reproduction over anything, and have been waiting to upgrade to a 27in with a better refresh rate. I think having a 240hz monitor would give me the edge. If I had to chose what gives me my current edge though, it would be the fact that I’ve been gaming since 1990 and have a great group to play with.
