Intel Gaming Week features some of the top names in PC gaming including MSI and Dell (who supplied the prizes for this contest). Read on to learn more about Intel’s most advanced processors, including Intel’s 12th Gen processors released this year. Then enter for your chance to win one of the two amazing laptops we are giving away.
Step up your gaming and leap ahead of the competition
Last year Intel released the amazing 11th Gen H Series processors bringing desktop calibre performance to laptops. Intel called it, “Desktop power for any desk” because Intel-powered laptops have evolved to deliver comparable performance of a bulky desktop so you can play high resolution, maximum frame rate games anytime and anywhere.
This year Intel announced an evolutionary leap in computing with their 12th Gen series of processors. We covered the main features of this announcement in an article on the blog at the beginning of this year. Gamers will get huge performance improvements thanks to the new hybrid architecture. The 12th Gen series mobile processors feature up to 6 Performance cores (P-cores) optimized for maximum responsiveness, and up to 8 Efficient cores (E-cores) optimized for threaded workloads and background tasks. Power gamers will be able to overclock both sets of cores to get faster performance than ever before.
Built for the next generation of gaming
Obviously, a gaming laptop is used for much more than just gaming. The ability for a laptop to keep gaming performance at maximum intensity while also performing complex background tasks is becoming more and more important. Many games require a steady connection to the internet during a game, for competing and for communicating with team mates in other cities; for downloading game components and add-ons; and more.
One of the most demanding auxiliary tasks that gamers do is live streaming or live recording for later playback of their gameplay. There are many people already streaming on Twitch and YouTube, and most are not able to stand out. The fact is, many gamers don’t have a machine powerful enough to keep their gaming at a peak level while they stream: the demands of streaming can dramatically impact the quality and consistency of gameplay, and thereby affect how engage their audience is. Imagine the challenges for a laptop to try to keep up with the complexities of a battle, the graphic demands and more, while at the same time capturing the action and sharing it over the internet. 12th Gen Intel® CoreTM powered laptops were built so you get the best of both worlds: the best gaming laptop and the best multitasking laptop ever created. Streaming with a laptop like this may be just what you need to stand out from the crowd.
Now is your chance to take on the world
Intel Gaming days are your chance to find the right machine for your gaming needs at a great price. Throughout the event you’ll find great deals on the newest 11th gen and 12th gen Intel powered laptops. You’ll also find great deals on gaming monitors and peripherals. And you can enter this contest for a chance to win one of these two amazing laptops!

How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways.
- In a comment below, tell us would you consider streaming your gameplay if you had one of the new laptops as discussed above, and why or why not. If you already stream your gameplay, do you post on a social site like YouTube or Twitch or just for fun (you can put your channel link here for some free advertising if you wish).
For up to three (3) additional entries, create a public post on a social media channel (one entry per channel!) telling your friends and followers that you are entering to win a Dell or MSI laptop from the Best Buy Blog’s Intel Gaming days contest; include the hashtag #BestBuyContest, so we can find your post, and include a picture of the prize like that shown here. Then return here and tell us in a comment below, on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that I can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc) but the post must be public so we can verify it is there. Add one comment below for each social media channel for up to 3 contest entries.
What you can win
At the end of this contest we will randomly select two (2) winners from all eligible entries. One will receive the Dell G15 15.6″ Gaming Laptop and the other will receive the MSI GS66 Stealth 15.6″ Gaming Laptop.
This contest runs from May 6th to May 26th.
Remember you can enter in two different ways as described above. However, tell your friends to visit Best Buy during Intel gaming days to check out the deals and so they too have a chance to win a great gaming laptop.

I would love to stream my online sim racing races with my friends, and show how much fun it is to race/crash with us on a weekday 😀 Thank you #Intel #Dell #MSI #intelgamingweek
I am not much of a gamer. I only play competitive multiplayer racing titles (like Asphalt 8: Airborne and Asphalt 9: Legends). On a laptop equipped with a newer 12th gen processor, I would be able to stream in real-time without stuttering.
The decrease in latency should hopefully not come at the cost of my game play because frames matter and even a micro-second delay can mean the difference between placing first or last. I believe that the split-architecture design of the 12 gen series Intel processors (performance cores + efficiency cores), I would have an edge since the performance cores would exclusively handle the game play and one or more of the efficiency cores, could capably handle the streaming part of my game.
This to me… represents a monumental leap in interactive gaming and I can’t wait for games to be released that are optimized to harness the power of this new computing architecture from Intel…
With this powerful laptop, I would certainly post clips and highlights to youtube, and would consider streaming on platforms like Twitch or YouTube for sure. I play many competitive and multiplayer games, as well as solo story modes, over many different genres. So I believe my wide range may appeal to a wide audience.
Not a gamer myself but my kids are. I would not be able to stream or post gameplays on on a social site like YouTube or Twitch
I would be streaming with the capability of the laptop.
No streaming for me, but these new laptops look great.
I wouldn’t stream my gameplay cause I’m a noob and would get pawned.
This would be such a huge contest to win for myself personally. Three of my best friends and myself started a podcast (Good Enough Gaming Podcast) during the pandemic and have absolutely love the process and the feedback we have been getting so far. Growth is hard for any of these things and having the right tech to get the job done right has become even harder to come by or afford. I have the worst computer out of the 4 of us and trying to get to a point where I can stream and play games at the same time to engage and grow our fan base is something I’d really like the capability to do. Currently that’s not an option for me with my laptop that’s now 12 years old.
We just launched a website this year (goodenoughgaming.com), and opened up a discord channel, but I’d really like to start streaming and interacting more.
Would consider streaming gameplay with the laptop
I would love to have a laptop for streaming. Currently can’t afford one but wish I had one

Would be able to stream from my hammock instead of a desk!
I would definitely stream if I won one of these laptops! I’ve been considering it for a while, but my current potato computer doesn’t have the power to do it effectively!
I would use it to play games with my family
The laptop I have now is not good enough to stream fast with, but with a good new laptop, sue, why not.
Would not consider streaming because no one needs to see how bad I play
I would consider streaming because these laptops would actually provide the power to do so.
I would rather not stream – I am not into social platforms

No I would not considering streaming due to speed required and the fact I would prefer to play for myself. Thanks!
No, I would not consider streaming, because I do not have the internet speed required, I do not use social media websites, and I prefer to play games alone.
I would consider streaming because these laptops would actually provide the power to do so.
I would probably stream to my friends.
I dont stream but I would love to have a laptop thats actually able to play newer games with a good frame rate and resolution
If I had a capable laptop and a good solid internet connection, I would definitely consider streaming down the road.
I would definitely stream if it meant winning one of these laptops!
I currently have a very old laptop, so gaming and streaming is impossible. There are so many more options with the Dell or Stealth laptop, the opportunity to game online would be something I would definitely take advantage of. I would love to win one of these laptops, it would open up a whole new world of possibilities!
I probably wouldn’t stream. I just enjoy playing casually and streaming would be too much of an obligation. Thanks for the contest.
I would definitely do some streaming if I had a great laptop like this.
I would definitely stream if I had one of these.
If i had one of these new laptops i would stream with my friends.
I prefer not to stream which is why I bought powerful gear to directly play all my games…
I would consider streaming because these laptops would actually provide the power to do so. Cheers!
No I like to play for myself, I don’t need outside noise.
I would probably stream to my friends.
My husband and daughters probably would because they are avid gamers who would love this!
I’d consider streaming my gameplay, but probably only with friends.
my son would and I would gift this to him
I probably wouldn’t stream bc my friends aren’t into gaming, but it would be fun to have the capability!
