Meet the new MacBook Pro, iPad mini, and iMac lineup from Apple

Four new Apple devices are available to pre-order at Best Buy Canada, but they aren’t simply variations on the same idea. Each is designed for a different kind of experience. MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display brings a new display and Touch experience to visual workflows. MacBook Pro with M6 puts powerful performance in a portable design. iPad mini is thin, light and ultraportable for everyday moments on the go. And iMac with M6 brings performance, a large display, and colour to your desktop.

Let’s take a look at what makes each device different and where each one fits best. And if you want help narrowing it down, our in-store advisers can walk you through the lineup and help you compare your options.

MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display: see and do more on screen

For visual work, the display isn’t simply where you see the finished result. It’s part of how you create it. MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display pairs tandem OLED technology with Touch, giving photographers, video editors, designers, and other creators a new way to see and interact with their work.

Available in 14-inch and 16-inch models with M5 Pro or M5 Max, it puts the visual experience at the centre of demanding creative workflows.

A display designed for creative work

The differences that matter most here are about how you see, interact with, and create your work:

• See visual work in rich detail: The tandem OLED PROLED XDR Display delivers deep blacks, bright highlights, and precise colour for photos, video, design work, and entertainment.
• Work directly on screen: Multi-Touch lets you scroll, zoom, rotate, draw, and interact directly with content on the MacBook Pro display.
• Keep useful information close: Dynamic Island gives you convenient access to information and features such as Spotlight and Live Activities while preserving space for what you’re working on.
• Choose the performance your workflow needs: M5 Pro and M5 Max give you options based on the complexity of your professional and creative work.
• Create for longer away from an outlet: The 14-inch MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display offers up to 22 hours of battery life, while the 16-inch model offers up to 24 hours.¹

MacBook Pro with M6: performance that travels

Demanding work doesn’t always happen at a desk. MacBook Pro with M6 combines powerful portable performance with long battery life, making it a compelling option for creators, developers, students, and professionals moving between the office, classroom, studio, and home.

Take demanding work with you

MacBook Pro with M6 balances performance with features that help turn almost anywhere into a productive workspace:

• Power through demanding tasks: The M6 chip is designed for professional, creative, and on-device AI workloads.
• Give your work a detailed canvas: The 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display is designed for everything from everyday work to photo and video projects.²
• Work longer between charges: Get up to 24 hours of battery life, with the same performance whether MacBook Pro is plugged in or running on battery.³
• Stay connected to your setup: Thunderbolt connectivity, MagSafe 3, HDMI, an SDXC card slot, a headphone jack, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6 give you plenty of ways to connect displays, storage, accessories, and networks.⁴
• Look and sound your best on calls: A 12MP Center Stage camera works with three studio-quality microphones and a six-speaker audio system.

iPad mini: thin, light and ultraportable

Ideas don’t always arrive when you’re sitting at a desk. iPad mini gives you a thin, light and ultraportable way to jot down a thought with Apple Pencil, sketch on the train, read on a flight, or catch up on a show at the end of the day.

Small enough to take almost anywhere

Its portability is the story, but iPad mini still packs in plenty of capability:

• Enjoy an OLED canvas: The 8.5-inch OLED display delivers precise, vivid colours and dramatic contrast for reading, watching, drawing, and editing.⁵
• Bring performance along: The A20 Pro chip provides power for everyday tasks, creative projects, and AI workloads.
• Turn ideas into notes and sketches: Pair iPad mini with Apple Pencil Pro or Apple Pencil (USB-C) to take notes, draw, and mark up documents. Accessories are sold separately.
• Stay connected on the go: Wi-Fi 7 helps you take advantage of compatible high-speed wireless networks.⁶
• Get some extra reassurance while travelling: iPad mini has an IP67 rating under controlled laboratory conditions for splash, water, and dust resistance.⁷

iMac M6: make more of your workspace

When most of your computing happens in one place, having more room to see your work can make a difference. iMac M6 combines M6 performance with a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display in a strikingly thin all-in-one design.

Seven vibrant colours also let your computer become part of the room, whether you’re creating a home office, family space, creative workstation, or small business setup.

Build your workspace around a bigger canvas

iMac M6 brings its performance, display, and all-in-one design together for a distinctly desktop experience:

• Give yourself room to work: The 24-inch 4.5K Retina display provides a bright, colourful canvas for multitasking, photos, video, work, and entertainment.⁸
• Handle your everyday workload: M6 is designed for multitasking, creative applications, and AI-powered tasks.
• Choose a colour for your space: The strikingly thin design comes in seven vibrant colours.
• Stay ready for calls: A 12MP Center Stage camera works with three studio-quality microphones and six speakers with Spatial Audio.
• Expand your setup: With up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports and support for up to two external 6K displays, you have room to grow your workspace.
