One look at a BenQ gaming monitor and you know they are serious about gaming. On the blog last year, we reviewed many gaming monitors and gaming projectors. We also gave away many of those review samples in blog contests. However, I saved two of those samples for this month because I assumed BenQ would be announcing lots of new gaming technology at CES 2023. I was right and they did announce new amazing monitors, new projectors, and more. Learn about some of BenQs newest tech, then enter for a chance to win one of the amazing BenQ gaming monitors we covered on the blog last year.

Gaming requires better tech than business applications

Are you playing games on the same monitor you bought for work or school? If that monitor isn’t designed for gaming, then you are likely missing out on the best possible gaming experience. You can do spreadsheets and essays just as well on a gaming monitor as on any other monitor. But gaming performance is where you will see a huge difference.

When you are gaming, input lag and video glitches impact your performance. BenQ gaming monitors are fast at processing the complex video info of gaming, and fast at registering your movements in the game so your running, jumping, and shooting happen almost as fast as your decision making. And while you can compensate for poor audio quality using a high performance gaming headset, BenQ even adds exceptional audio speakers in its monitors so you can feel immersed in the sound and video from the same outstanding monitor.

BenQ innovation we’ll see in 2023

I was impressed with last year’s monitors and projectors. Each product we reviewed was a solid standout performer that I knew would provide years of enjoyment for Best Buy customers. At CES 2023, BenQ announced another very promising lineup that includes the next innovation in the Mobiuz monitor series with a blistering fast 240Hz refresh rate (The two monitors we are giving away in this contest are Mobiuz monitors with impressive 165Hz refresh rates.). They also have a new 360Hz Zowie monitor designed specifically for e-sports. If gaming is your life, this monitor is for you!

We’ll likely get samples of their new tech later this year to review but for now, enter for a chance to win one of two samples that we reviewed several months ago—are you the gamer we saved these prizes for?

  1. I actually don’t own a gaming monitor. If/when I decide to purchase one, I’ve heard that a good one would have a high refresh rate.

  2. firstly, I don’t have one of these. Secondly, for good ergonomic posture and finally good refresh rate

  3. I currently do not own a gaming monitor but i think AMD Free-Sync and high refresh rate are important features to me for a good gaming experience

  4. I have an old pc monitor that supports 2k rez, 144 hrz and 1 mms response time. That is pretty much all the important feature. So that new BenQ Mobiuz EX480UZ 48-inch monitor is clicking all the case plus that sweet oled screen. Amazing.

  5. I do not own a gaming monitor but would like to own one for when the Grandkids come for a visit they would enjoy it very much!

  6. Thanks Martin and Best Buy for this great chance to win. I actually don’t own a “gaming monitor”…..just a normal PC monitor. If I “DID” have a gaming monitor….or was shopping for one……and with me working on a video game and more at the moment, I know my biggest thing would be looking at the “quality” of the display first and foremost (whether it be 4K, etc.). Simply having crystal clear and crisp image would be far and beyond the most important given what I do for my work…..and would be a huge step up from my current monitor.

    Good luck to everyone 🙂

  7. I don’t currently have one, but Monitor size, resolution, and refresh rate are all top of mind when I’m looking.

  10. I don’t have a gaming monitor. I think a refresh rate would separate this monitor from a non-gaming monitor.

  11. No, I don’t own a gaming monitor. The most important feature for me is the better sound experience as I will use the monitor more for watching and producing videos.

  12. I don’t own a gaming monitor. I think what would make it better would be that it would be faster and the sound will make you feel like you are in the video or game that you are watching.

  13. I do not own a gaming monitor but I believe that the refresh rate is the most important for my needs. I would also like to learn more about the the 240Hz EX270M monitor from BenQ.
