We sent a Samsung G3 monitor to Marcus for an honest test and review. He played games and did his work using the monitor then explained his experiences in an article and in this video. Take a few minutes to learn about Marcus’ experience and to see this monitor in action. Marcus clearly explains some of the great features of this monitor. One thing he does not mention though is the price. It’s a policy of the blog program that instead of mentioning price, something that can change frequently with the number of sales that Best Buy holds, we link to the Best Buy website so readers can see the accurate purchase price there. You’ll be pleasantly surprised to learn that even with all of the great features to benefit gaming and any other use you might have for this monitor, the monitor is very reasonably priced.
Future friendly monitors because gaming is not getting any slower or less demanding
Most of us will buy very few monitors in our lifetimes. We expect that this kind of technology will serve our needs for many years. There are many different monitors on the Best Buy website. You could just buy the most expensive one on the site, and that will definitely have the most advanced technology and the most modern display screen, and it may last decades.
Personally, that’s not the approach for me. I would select a monitor that’s the right size for my work space, decent refresh rate (and the 144Hz found in the Samsung G3 is more than just decent!), and priced low. The Samsung G3 would be a dream monitor for my needs. For gamers, it will be more than fast enough now and for years to come. What’s your dream monitor?
