How to enter our Play at Best Buy contest

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. From May 20th to June 30th, in a comment below this article, tell us what gaming gear that is available at Best Buy you would like to get, and how it would improve your gaming experience; you must include the link to that product from the Best Buy website in your comment. 
  2. From June 3rd to June 30th, Best Buy will hide a coin (like the one you see here) somewhere on the Play at Best Buy event page;  click on that coin to reveal a secret code located somewhere on the next page. Once you have the code, email it to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with “Play at Best Buy Contest” in the subject. Do not post the code in a comment on the blog. Each Friday during June (for a total of four Fridays) the Best Buy team will place the coin in a new location on the Play at Best Buy event page and clicking on it will lead you to a new secret code that you can then email to the blog team for an additional contest entry. That means you can enter four times by emailing those four unique codes. Make sure to come back to this contest and send each week’s unique code to our email address for the best chance to win! 

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will randomly draw 8 winners from all eligible entries posted on the blog (in English and French) and sent via email; each will receive one of the prize packages listed here: Xbox Series S package, Nintendo Switch OLED package, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition package, Samsung Smart TV, Meta Quest 2, Razer package, HyperX package, and Corsair package.

  27. A ps5 console would be amazing to have, I don’t own any consoles whatsoever because my last one broke due to family members. A ps5 would greatly enhance my gaming experience because then I can actually play with friends whenever they come over and have a great time, thanks:)

  29. Playstation 5 Digital so I can play next gen nba 2k and not face cheaters every day all day and play with my friends pc is disaster.

  30. Probably the Switch OLED or the Samsung TV. It would be nice to play Switch games with friends! They keep bugging me to play animal crossing with them! The Samsung TV would be nice too I suppose, it would be such a good upgrade from the relic that I have from 2012.

  31. Definitely the Switch OLED. I’ve never had a Nintendo console before and it would be nice to play some switch games with friends! Or the Samsung TV. I’ve been looking to upgrade my tv from 2015 but money is tight.
