How to enter our Play at Best Buy contest

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. From May 20th to June 30th, in a comment below this article, tell us what gaming gear that is available at Best Buy you would like to get, and how it would improve your gaming experience; you must include the link to that product from the Best Buy website in your comment. 
  2. From June 3rd to June 30th, Best Buy will hide a coin (like the one you see here) somewhere on the Play at Best Buy event page;  click on that coin to reveal a secret code located somewhere on the next page. Once you have the code, email it to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with “Play at Best Buy Contest” in the subject. Do not post the code in a comment on the blog. Each Friday during June (for a total of four Fridays) the Best Buy team will place the coin in a new location on the Play at Best Buy event page and clicking on it will lead you to a new secret code that you can then email to the blog team for an additional contest entry. That means you can enter four times by emailing those four unique codes. Make sure to come back to this contest and send each week’s unique code to our email address for the best chance to win! 

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will randomly draw 8 winners from all eligible entries posted on the blog (in English and French) and sent via email; each will receive one of the prize packages listed here: Xbox Series S package, Nintendo Switch OLED package, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition package, Samsung Smart TV, Meta Quest 2, Razer package, HyperX package, and Corsair package.

    I kid you not, the family is still stuck with a CRT Tube TV and a N64.
    Being ever so fortunate enough to win this TV would finally upgrade the entertainment to the next level (current level to most of you). It would make my family ecstatic! (Yes, I do understand we would have to look to upgrade the game console as well, maybe can get really fortunately lucky and win one of the consoles as well to round it all up, that would truly be a miracle Christmas in July for my family!)

  42. I would love to win the Samsung 65 inch 4K UHD QLED TV to take my gaming experience to the next level! My current (budget) TV does not handle high motion games, such as FIFA 22, very well. The ghosting effect on it is very apparent and it is capped to 60 Hz. A 65 inch QLED Samsung screen with a 120 Hz display is just everything a console gamer would ever need in the decade ahead!
