A Premium TV from one of the top television manufacturers like Sony, Samsung, and LG takes home entertainment to a whole new level. Each brand has their own spectacular technologies to bring out the best from the movies, TV shows, and sports that you love to watch. You can find a huge selection of these televisions right now online at Bestbuy.ca. Also, read carefully below then enter this amazing contest: three Canadians will win an amazing Premium television!
Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology
I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.
I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.
Do your research and plan for your next TV
Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.
These are all premium prizes, so you must do a bit of work before you enter to win one of them. Since each of these brands provided a prize for this contest, you’ll be allowed to enter once per brand. Read the directions below carefully.
How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter once for each brand that provided a prize to this contest for a total of three unique entries: one entry about Sony, one about Samsung, and one about LG. For each entry, in a comment below, tell us
a) which new technology by that brand has you most excited about their Premium TVs this year. You can go to these articles for information about the new technology from each brand.
b) which model by that brand on the Best Buy website is your favourite (you must be precise: saying something like “any model” is not a valid response).
What you can win
At the end of the contest, we will randomly select three winners from all eligible entries to receive one of the three televisions shown above.
This contest runs from June 1st to June 15th.
Remember you can enter once for each brand of television offered as a prize in this contest. However, you must know lots of people who would be thrilled for a chance to win one of these televisions. Share this contest with them and tell them to read the instructions carefully so each of their entries is valid and gives them a chance to win.

Good Luck.
Sony’s TRILUMINOS Display technology and Sony Master Series 77″ 4K UHD HDR OLED Android OS Smart TV (XBR77A9G)
LG’s NanoCell technology and LG 65″ 4K UHD HDR OLED webOS Smart TV (OLED65GXPUA)
a) Samsung – Real Game Enhancer+ and a Dynamic Black Equalizer
b) Samsung 65″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV
OLED is the thing I like – seen in small screens before, but now available in something huge like the Sony 77″ 4K UHD HDR OLED Android Smart TV (XBR77A1E) – woohoo!
For the LG 65NANO86UNA, I hope “True Colour Accuracy” brings picture as accurate as colour graders for films intended. Though I’d prefer the Sony, this television would help distract me from the fact that despite a well-publicized visit last year from living god Kikuo Ibe himself, Canada seemingly isn’t important enough to be on the A-list for Casios like the hot new GBD-100 and GBX-100 series G-Shocks.
For the Samsung QN65LS03TAFXZC, I don’t care about most of the invasive internet of things tech or using it as a gaming screen, but would have to see it to know how well “Quantum Dot technology with 100% colour volume takes advantage HDR”. Though I’d prefer the Sony, this television would help distract me from the fact that despite a well-publicized visit last year from living god Kikuo Ibe himself, Canada seemingly isn’t important enough to be on the A-list for Casios like the hot new GBD-100 and GBX-100 series G-Shocks.
a) LG’s NanoCell technology has me most excited for their Premium TVs this year as I think this could put them over the other brands.
b) LG NanoCell 55″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV (55NANO80UNA is my favourite model on the Best Buy website for LG as it will be a good value upgrade for my current TV.
For the Sony XBR65X950H, I’m interested in the “Ambient Optimization technology automatically adjusts picture and sound to suit your environment” because I sometimes watch Canadian broadcast television and have to deal with the usual insane volume changes. (I also love the thin aluminium bezel.) This television would help distract me from the fact that despite a well-publicized visit last year from living god Kikuo Ibe himself, Canada seemingly isn’t important enough to be on the A-list for Casios like the hot new GBD-100 and GBX-100 series G-Shocks.
For the Sony TV I am excited about TRILUMINOS Display technology and the brand I would choose would be the Sony 98″ 8K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR98Z9G) as it has a large picture area and would be amazing to watch movies on this.
