Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

    A. But i do really like the X-Motion Clarity™ technology for gaming! I am an xbox guy so this would be amazing play halo, or ect.
    B. I would love the Sony Smart TV so i could easily hook up netflix to the t.v so my little guy (4) can watch all of his favourtie shows!

  8. A) the Technology I’m most excited about is the LG OLED TV with NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility reproduces incredibly detailed picture quality generated by 8 million-plus self-lit pixels. I also like the LG NanoCell 65″ a7 Gen 3 processor.

    B) the Model that is my favorite is the LG 77″ 4K UHD HDR OLED webOS Smart TV (OLED77CXPUA). I watch a lot of Movies on my PS3. I think this would work well for my Blu-ray.

    A. I am usually attracted more to visuals, but as the children are more socially restricted they are “upping” their video gaming – and sometimes I am honored with a gaming invite. The video games have made me appreciate audio as a key element in making gaming more of an experience. Sony Acoustic Surface Audio would give my Dino-Monster what she needs! I like that feature.
    B. The one I usually game with is my son – he has very sensitive hearing and plays with the volume down very low. So my choice of TV will also include what he would like – great colour and a size which will permit us to split the screen and still see the game! I would love it for when he is able to have a friend over and they could split the screen and not feel like they have to move closer to the TV (and each other).
    I have two large areas to put a large TV in…I will go with the Sony 65″ 4K UHD HDR OLED Android Smart TV (XBR65A8G) (but the 85″…I can’t even imagine).

A) what technology I’m most excited is how the Sony X900H has Acoustic Multi-Audio which pairs an ultra-high resolution picture to improved sound quality through the addition of discretely mounted tweeters on the sides of the TV. This is a feature that sounds very interesting and it sounds like it will give the sharpest look for your TV.

    The Active Voice Amplifier would be beneficial to me since my livingroom is open to the kitchen and I get a lot of background noise when someone is in there.

I’d love Quantum HDR 32X, which helps enhance the picture in areas that are too bright or dark, ultra-viewing angle so you can see the picture in crisp detail no matter where you’re sitting, and two special layers that minimize leakage so light is spread evenly throughout the panel. This sounds perfect for me!!
