Read on and enter for a chance to win the sample that we sent for a review on the blog.

Where in your home do you use the internet

Is there anyplace in your home where you do not use the internet? I read a survey recently that said over 65% of respondents admitted to using their phones while on the toilet. You might not be gaming in there, but you likely use the internet in many places in your home. With a mesh router, you will get the same strong internet signal in the kitchen, in the living room, in all of the bedroom and, yes, even in the bathroom.

I admit, during NFL season, I have been known to soak in the tub while watching a game! I have multiple routers in my home to ensure I get a strong signal. The router we are giving away in this contest comes with two routers that work together to boost the wireless signal throughout your home. Gamers get unique functions that optimize game traffic.

How do you learn about the newest technology available for your home

Most people in Canada probably don’t even know that router technology keeps improving. It’s hard to keep up with the changes and improvement in all different kinds of technology including laptops, routers … even small appliances. Best Buy’s website has a latest & greatest page where you will only see the newest and best technology.

The blog too has a section that presents reviews and announcements about new products you can find at Best Buy. You can click on the “Latest and Greatest Tech” link on the right side of any article on the blog. If you click on it now you’ll find the review of the ASUS ROG Rapture GT6 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System.  I suggest you read that review than return here for a chance to win that sample that was reviewed.

  1. I use it in my bedroom and my living room for streaming. I haven’t noticed any weak areas.

  2. I use the internet in all of the house, but we have had to use boosters as the router is upstairs so signal is weak in the basement.

  3. Router is in the living room where it’s used most. Weaker in the bedroom and washroom due to doors and walls

  4. I have more than five rooms in my house, some rooms aren’t getting a strong wifi signal. It can be a headache with streaming gadgets using only wifi.

  5. We use internet in almost all the rooms in the house. We do have weak signal in the garage and in many areas of the house and I am not sure why?

  6. I currently use my internet only in the dining room/living room. I think there is no weak area in my house that I’m aware of.

  7. Well, technically, all of the rooms in my house, due to mobile devices. As for static devices that use wifi, I would say 13 across 5 rooms. Another 3 will be added outside of the house when the weather warms up a bit.

  8. I currently use the internet in all rooms of my house, however, I require a stronger signal in my detached garage to ensure optimal performance of my security camera.

  9. We try to use the internet in every room (6 rooms) but we have terrible reception in the 3 bedrooms

  10. We use the internet in every room in our house, but is noticeably weak in our basement.

  11. I mainly use in the living room where the router is, even then it seems to work better with a wired connection. I have never tried in the upstairs rooms or the basement and garage, but do know it works in the downstairs bathroom but that is still not far from the router. I would like to have it reach upstairs in case I get guests.

  12. I have about 6 rooms and I’d say about half the house has a weak signal (1-2 seem to disconnect frequently) because the wifi modem is in the garage.

  13. We use the internet everywhere in our home, but the signal is the weakest at the back of our basement.

  14. I use the Internet in my bedroom, and my sister has the main router in her room. Sometimes it is slow and other times it is fast. I would love to win this!

The feature I like is the antenna feature so you can speed up the internet.

  15. We use internet in most rooms of the house, nine by my count. It is weakest in the basement office, media room and bedroom. (i.e., three rooms).

  16. 1. 5 rooms. The internet is weakest in the kitchen.
    2. ASUS Router App lets you manage the network settings from your smartphone or tablet.

  17. I use internet all around the house, (maybe 6-7 rooms?), but the worst areas are in the basement, garage, with the further away the worse the internet gets…!

  18. My room has the weakest internet b/c it is furthest from the router. I WFH though so this is a problem
