Celebrate the fun and excitement of PC Gaming during Intel® Gaming Week. Best Buy Canada kicks it off with great deals on Intel-powered laptops and PC Gaming accessories that will boost your gaming experience in ways you can only imagine. Running from May 12th to 26th. Intel Gaming Week features some of the top names in PC gaming including MSI and Dell (who supplied the prizes for this contest). Read on to learn more about Intel’s most advanced processors, including Intel’s 12th Gen processors released this year. Then enter for your chance to win one of the two amazing laptops we are giving away.
Step up your gaming and leap ahead of the competition
Last year Intel released the amazing 11th Gen H Series processors bringing desktop calibre performance to laptops. Intel called it, “Desktop power for any desk” because Intel-powered laptops have evolved to deliver comparable performance of a bulky desktop so you can play high resolution, maximum frame rate games anytime and anywhere.
This year Intel announced an evolutionary leap in computing with their 12th Gen series of processors. We covered the main features of this announcement in an article on the blog at the beginning of this year. Gamers will get huge performance improvements thanks to the new hybrid architecture. The 12th Gen series mobile processors feature up to 6 Performance cores (P-cores) optimized for maximum responsiveness, and up to 8 Efficient cores (E-cores) optimized for threaded workloads and background tasks. Power gamers will be able to overclock both sets of cores to get faster performance than ever before.
Built for the next generation of gaming
Obviously, a gaming laptop is used for much more than just gaming. The ability for a laptop to keep gaming performance at maximum intensity while also performing complex background tasks is becoming more and more important. Many games require a steady connection to the internet during a game, for competing and for communicating with team mates in other cities; for downloading game components and add-ons; and more.
One of the most demanding auxiliary tasks that gamers do is live streaming or live recording for later playback of their gameplay. There are many people already streaming on Twitch and YouTube, and most are not able to stand out. The fact is, many gamers don’t have a machine powerful enough to keep their gaming at a peak level while they stream: the demands of streaming can dramatically impact the quality and consistency of gameplay, and thereby affect how engage their audience is. Imagine the challenges for a laptop to try to keep up with the complexities of a battle, the graphic demands and more, while at the same time capturing the action and sharing it over the internet. 12th Gen Intel® CoreTM powered laptops were built so you get the best of both worlds: the best gaming laptop and the best multitasking laptop ever created. Streaming with a laptop like this may be just what you need to stand out from the crowd.
Now is your chance to take on the world
Intel Gaming days are your chance to find the right machine for your gaming needs at a great price. Throughout the event you’ll find great deals on the newest 11th gen and 12th gen Intel powered laptops. You’ll also find great deals on gaming monitors and peripherals. And you can enter this contest for a chance to win one of these two amazing laptops!

How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways.
- In a comment below, tell us would you consider streaming your gameplay if you had one of the new laptops as discussed above, and why or why not. If you already stream your gameplay, do you post on a social site like YouTube or Twitch or just for fun (you can put your channel link here for some free advertising if you wish).
For up to three (3) additional entries, create a public post on a social media channel (one entry per channel!) telling your friends and followers that you are entering to win a Dell or MSI laptop from the Best Buy Blog’s Intel Gaming days contest; include the hashtag #BestBuyContest, so we can find your post, and include a picture of the prize like that shown here. Then return here and tell us in a comment below, on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that I can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc) but the post must be public so we can verify it is there. Add one comment below for each social media channel for up to 3 contest entries.
What you can win
At the end of this contest we will randomly select two (2) winners from all eligible entries. One will receive the Dell G15 15.6″ Gaming Laptop and the other will receive the MSI GS66 Stealth 15.6″ Gaming Laptop.
This contest runs from May 6th to May 26th.
Remember you can enter in two different ways as described above. However, tell your friends to visit Best Buy during Intel gaming days to check out the deals and so they too have a chance to win a great gaming laptop.

Come home with me baby
I’d think about streaming but I’m not a pro gamer. Would be fun with this gaming laptop!
i go to twitch, love games, never streamed before, great laptops to do so with.
No, I wouldn’t stream, that’s not my thing. Would love to have this for gaming!
My laptop is very old and worn out, this would be such a great relief.
Would love to gift this to my son-in-law and he would stream
No, I wouldn’t stream, but I love gaming. I would be gaming everyday in private if I was lucky enough to win one of these amazing laptops. Thanks for the opportunity!
Yes, would love the smooth streaming
Awesome contest, I could use a new laptop mine is very old and outdated.
I wouldn’t stream because I’ve never been very good at gaming.
I would stream, just casually though as I don’t have a lot of time
Would love to win the laptop, but would not stream gameplay. There is enough garbage online without me adding a stream of my gameplay!
If I streamed, it would be laughable how bad I am, but I’d love a powerful new computer to play!
Perfect gift for my stepson however, I am not sure he would stream…
My son would absolutely love this!!
No I don’t stream my game play. My available wifi at home is too slow to allow streaming. Once the new fibe connection is available, hopefully it will be much faster.
nothing wrong with fast speed to get your gaming on
This would be a great prize to win! I would not stream my gameplay, I really don’t understand why watching other people play a game is a thing, I’d rather play the game itself.
Need a new laptop for work and gaming
My grandson would love this
I find it frustrating with my current laptop. This would do the trick
I would try , but I am not very good no matter how hard I try. So there probably wouldn’t be many watching for long. Maybe a great laptop would help me get better ?
I would consider streaming with either of these rigs as they are more than capable of doing so with power to spare.
My son is the gamer in the family and I believe he has streamed his gaming and probably would with an awesome new laptop
I don’t stream often but would maybe steam a bit more with this upgrade
Personally? I would definitely stream my game play! Viewership be damned, if I had the equipment for it, I’d do it in a heartbeat. Because so many other streamers have entertained and inspired me. I’d love to do the same for others
I would defiantly stream many games if I had this powerful a laptop it would be easy . Thanks for the opportunity #bestbuycontest.
Nobody would want to watch my horrible game playing, I would probably have an empty channel! So I’ll stick with solo playing.

I would stream my gameplay.
I would not stream, as I am not a streamer. But I would definitely play lots of games!!!
I would consider streaming my gameplay, since I enjoy playing games with others, and this laptop would be helpful in doing so.
I would not stream my gameplay because I am a shy person and that’s not in my realm.
No, not really a streamer, like watching some gameplay tutorials, much more a do’er than a show’er!
I would consider steaming on YouTube, I’m not the best, but I’d still be fun.
Honestly I don’t know that I would consider streaming video games, but I have though about doing some about armouring or prop making.
I wouldn’t stream, prefer gaming on my own

Would not stream…not good enough
Totally would try streaming with this. Mostly to friends inside discord. Amoung us and the like.
I would not live stream because I’m more of a solo gamer.
I don’t think anybody would watch if I streamed. I’d consider it if I had an audience!
Posted with @craponcrap on Twitter!
I would definitely stream something on this. Likely one of the resident evil games!
