Celebrate the fun and excitement of PC Gaming during Intel® Gaming Week. Best Buy Canada kicks it off with great deals on Intel-powered laptops and PC Gaming accessories that will boost your gaming experience in ways you can only imagine. Running from May 12th to 26th. Intel Gaming Week features some of the top names in PC gaming including MSI and Dell (who supplied the prizes for this contest). Read on to learn more about Intel’s most advanced processors, including Intel’s 12th Gen processors released this year. Then enter for your chance to win one of the two amazing laptops we are giving away.
Step up your gaming and leap ahead of the competition
Last year Intel released the amazing 11th Gen H Series processors bringing desktop calibre performance to laptops. Intel called it, “Desktop power for any desk” because Intel-powered laptops have evolved to deliver comparable performance of a bulky desktop so you can play high resolution, maximum frame rate games anytime and anywhere.
This year Intel announced an evolutionary leap in computing with their 12th Gen series of processors. We covered the main features of this announcement in an article on the blog at the beginning of this year. Gamers will get huge performance improvements thanks to the new hybrid architecture. The 12th Gen series mobile processors feature up to 6 Performance cores (P-cores) optimized for maximum responsiveness, and up to 8 Efficient cores (E-cores) optimized for threaded workloads and background tasks. Power gamers will be able to overclock both sets of cores to get faster performance than ever before.
Built for the next generation of gaming
Obviously, a gaming laptop is used for much more than just gaming. The ability for a laptop to keep gaming performance at maximum intensity while also performing complex background tasks is becoming more and more important. Many games require a steady connection to the internet during a game, for competing and for communicating with team mates in other cities; for downloading game components and add-ons; and more.
One of the most demanding auxiliary tasks that gamers do is live streaming or live recording for later playback of their gameplay. There are many people already streaming on Twitch and YouTube, and most are not able to stand out. The fact is, many gamers don’t have a machine powerful enough to keep their gaming at a peak level while they stream: the demands of streaming can dramatically impact the quality and consistency of gameplay, and thereby affect how engage their audience is. Imagine the challenges for a laptop to try to keep up with the complexities of a battle, the graphic demands and more, while at the same time capturing the action and sharing it over the internet. 12th Gen Intel® CoreTM powered laptops were built so you get the best of both worlds: the best gaming laptop and the best multitasking laptop ever created. Streaming with a laptop like this may be just what you need to stand out from the crowd.
Now is your chance to take on the world
Intel Gaming days are your chance to find the right machine for your gaming needs at a great price. Throughout the event you’ll find great deals on the newest 11th gen and 12th gen Intel powered laptops. You’ll also find great deals on gaming monitors and peripherals. And you can enter this contest for a chance to win one of these two amazing laptops!

How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways.
- In a comment below, tell us would you consider streaming your gameplay if you had one of the new laptops as discussed above, and why or why not. If you already stream your gameplay, do you post on a social site like YouTube or Twitch or just for fun (you can put your channel link here for some free advertising if you wish).
For up to three (3) additional entries, create a public post on a social media channel (one entry per channel!) telling your friends and followers that you are entering to win a Dell or MSI laptop from the Best Buy Blog’s Intel Gaming days contest; include the hashtag #BestBuyContest, so we can find your post, and include a picture of the prize like that shown here. Then return here and tell us in a comment below, on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that I can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc) but the post must be public so we can verify it is there. Add one comment below for each social media channel for up to 3 contest entries.
What you can win
At the end of this contest we will randomly select two (2) winners from all eligible entries. One will receive the Dell G15 15.6″ Gaming Laptop and the other will receive the MSI GS66 Stealth 15.6″ Gaming Laptop.
This contest runs from May 6th to May 26th.
Remember you can enter in two different ways as described above. However, tell your friends to visit Best Buy during Intel gaming days to check out the deals and so they too have a chance to win a great gaming laptop.

I think I would have fun streaming. I’m not usually very good at multitasking, but if were to focus on engaging the audience and less on actually playing the game, it might be a fun little experiment! And a laptop of this quality would be a good one to use!
I want to say yes but my gameplay is probably not something people would be anxious to watch. Would I game though? Yes. Would I use it to make great internet content? Absolutely.
Yes, I would, because I`m into adventure. Boom.
I would probably think about it, but in the end not have the courage. But having a computer that could do it leaves the door open.
I would not stream my gameplay because that makes me feel nervous.
I would totally stream games with that laptop, just to show how awesome it is 😛
no I would not as I don;t really play that many games, my son is the gamer and he would stream his gamplay
I’m not good enough to stream my game play lol.
All of us here would love to get into doing some streaming. And, of course, we would absolutely love to win this prize!
I would not stream my gameplay as I am not that talented or interested in that.

I sincerely doubt anyone would want to watch me play. But I’d rather play than watch someone else, so I wouldn’t blame them.
I may stream if I get good enough at playing.
I can’t see myself streaming, but a new gaming computer would sure be welcome.
No gameplay streaming for me – perhaps my son will in my place.
No, I will not stream my gameplay. I’m not a gamer.
I don’t stream but my son does…nobody would be interested in my gaming abilities…lol.
I wouldn’t stream. Not at all good enough for that!
I am a bit too old for streaming, but who knows! Never too old to try something new!
I think that I would be a bit too shy to stream my games, but I would be willing to give it a try with some help!

I would for sure consider streaming my games if I had an amazing laptop like this!
I would stream but not to compete. Reflexes are too slow
I don’t think that I would plan on streaming, but a new gaming computer would be perfect for those weekly game nights I have with my friends!
I’d like to start doing some streaming.
I would like to get into doing some streaming.
I would use this for streaming for sure.
I would love to do some streaming with this bad boy.
Totally would love to steam my gameplay if I had the right equipment.

Even with a sweet new gaming laptop I don’t think I’d stream my gameplay. I don’t see the appeal at all but I enjoy playing the games.
I do not stream at present. But if I had a laptop powerful enough to keep gaming at a peak level while I stream.. then I would be interested
my last bonus entry is on instagram, I posted as @mottypark

Also have an entry for the contest posted on Twitter as @michaelmottisha. for the #Win!
Hi team- my first extra entry for the cool gaming laptop is on Facebook as Mike Mottishaw, thx!
I’m afraid not! at this point i am too much of a rookie to feel confident enough to try streaming, I have to get my ducks in a row first… but one day soon…I will overcome.
No I wouldn’t stream live because nobody wants to see my ugly mug.
If I had a gaming computer, I would stream my gaming.
