Celebrate the fun and excitement of PC Gaming during Intel® Gaming Week. Best Buy Canada kicks it off with great deals on Intel-powered laptops and PC Gaming accessories that will boost your gaming experience in ways you can only imagine. Running from May 12th to 26th. Intel Gaming Week features some of the top names in PC gaming including MSI and Dell (who supplied the prizes for this contest). Read on to learn more about Intel’s most advanced processors, including Intel’s 12th Gen processors released this year. Then enter for your chance to win one of the two amazing laptops we are giving away.
Step up your gaming and leap ahead of the competition
Last year Intel released the amazing 11th Gen H Series processors bringing desktop calibre performance to laptops. Intel called it, “Desktop power for any desk” because Intel-powered laptops have evolved to deliver comparable performance of a bulky desktop so you can play high resolution, maximum frame rate games anytime and anywhere.
This year Intel announced an evolutionary leap in computing with their 12th Gen series of processors. We covered the main features of this announcement in an article on the blog at the beginning of this year. Gamers will get huge performance improvements thanks to the new hybrid architecture. The 12th Gen series mobile processors feature up to 6 Performance cores (P-cores) optimized for maximum responsiveness, and up to 8 Efficient cores (E-cores) optimized for threaded workloads and background tasks. Power gamers will be able to overclock both sets of cores to get faster performance than ever before.
Built for the next generation of gaming
Obviously, a gaming laptop is used for much more than just gaming. The ability for a laptop to keep gaming performance at maximum intensity while also performing complex background tasks is becoming more and more important. Many games require a steady connection to the internet during a game, for competing and for communicating with team mates in other cities; for downloading game components and add-ons; and more.
One of the most demanding auxiliary tasks that gamers do is live streaming or live recording for later playback of their gameplay. There are many people already streaming on Twitch and YouTube, and most are not able to stand out. The fact is, many gamers don’t have a machine powerful enough to keep their gaming at a peak level while they stream: the demands of streaming can dramatically impact the quality and consistency of gameplay, and thereby affect how engage their audience is. Imagine the challenges for a laptop to try to keep up with the complexities of a battle, the graphic demands and more, while at the same time capturing the action and sharing it over the internet. 12th Gen Intel® CoreTM powered laptops were built so you get the best of both worlds: the best gaming laptop and the best multitasking laptop ever created. Streaming with a laptop like this may be just what you need to stand out from the crowd.
Now is your chance to take on the world
Intel Gaming days are your chance to find the right machine for your gaming needs at a great price. Throughout the event you’ll find great deals on the newest 11th gen and 12th gen Intel powered laptops. You’ll also find great deals on gaming monitors and peripherals. And you can enter this contest for a chance to win one of these two amazing laptops!

How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways.
- In a comment below, tell us would you consider streaming your gameplay if you had one of the new laptops as discussed above, and why or why not. If you already stream your gameplay, do you post on a social site like YouTube or Twitch or just for fun (you can put your channel link here for some free advertising if you wish).
For up to three (3) additional entries, create a public post on a social media channel (one entry per channel!) telling your friends and followers that you are entering to win a Dell or MSI laptop from the Best Buy Blog’s Intel Gaming days contest; include the hashtag #BestBuyContest, so we can find your post, and include a picture of the prize like that shown here. Then return here and tell us in a comment below, on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that I can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc) but the post must be public so we can verify it is there. Add one comment below for each social media channel for up to 3 contest entries.
What you can win
At the end of this contest we will randomly select two (2) winners from all eligible entries. One will receive the Dell G15 15.6″ Gaming Laptop and the other will receive the MSI GS66 Stealth 15.6″ Gaming Laptop.
This contest runs from May 6th to May 26th.
Remember you can enter in two different ways as described above. However, tell your friends to visit Best Buy during Intel gaming days to check out the deals and so they too have a chance to win a great gaming laptop.

Good luck.
I’m not a great game, so no streaming for me.
I would stream my gameplay. I’ve never had a good enough computer to do so, so it would be fund to try it out!
I’ve posted on the Twitter! Username’s @egurite

Yes, I would most definitely stream gameplay with one of those spankin’ new laptops! I actually currently play and stream directly from console right now because I don’t have a good running computer. With the new laptop I would finally be able to play games that are available on PC and then stream my console gaming to my laptop too for consistency. My channel is too small to mention so I won’t but I do stream on Twitch!
I wouldn’t stream because I just play for fun
I would probably only stream if I had friends who wanted to watch or some great, new idea for streaming a game that wasn’t already overly popular. There wouldn’t be much purpose in me doing it otherwise.
I play for pleasure and relaxing – I don’t need stress of streaming
I used to stream my gameplay specially when I’m playing with my friends, I don’t do it to get viewers or followers only to capture if something amazing or funny gameplay happens.
I might try streaming if my PC could handle it. Everyone would come for my funny jokes.
I would chose not to stream my gameplay. I play video games to relax and unwind. I’d love to play warzone on this laptop.
i play to relax
I would stream but only for friends.

I definitely would NOT stream my gameplay because I’m a terrible gamer!
I might try streaming if my PC could handle it. Everyone would come for my funny jokes.
Yes i would stream if i won.
my laptops are currently underpowered and the FPS goes down when i try to stream. I guess if i have the new more modern laptops then that wouldn’t be a problem to stream my games!

Would totally love to try streaming! My current system is not powerful enough to do this even though I’m far from a pro gamer, I would still love to show off my noob skill and in hope someone would find it entertaining!
i play to relax
I DON’T SEE THE BENEFIT OF STREAMING
I play for pleasure and relaxing – I don’t need stress of streaming
I am not on social platforms
No to streaming – not that good.
I don’t stream my gameplay and have no interest to do so at the moment.
I would stream for sure, because I would have a laptop that could handle it lol.
I would consider streaming my game play if I got really good at it.
I would stream on Twitch and possibly record some videos for YouTube if I got one of these amazing laptops. It would be interesting to have a record of my gameplay and my son would appreciate watching them.
I would definitely try it out. I do subscribe to a few of my favorite Twitch streamers and game with a few friends and co-workers. I would stream some game-play for a bit more mature audience lol. Thanks for the chance!
I would definitely consider streaming as I would have a platform capable of doing so properly.
I would not stream as it would tie up my bandwidth and use up my data limit.

Hi, well, I don’t stream and I don’t see anyone wanting see how bad I play minesweeper. LOL
My husband is the gamer and he like to play online with people from all over the world, he has made many friends. He isn’t really on social media much so he doesn’t share there, he is old school lol
I wont stream right now until I improve my gameplay. its too embarrassing. I will end up causing someone to be toxic
I have on occasion casually streamed gameplay on Twitch. I find it fun to have some input or conversations from viewers when playing even if it’s only a couple of people.
I would certainly consider streaming more if I had a top end device like one of these laptops as It would allow me to access a lot more PC games that current very old gaming system can’t play.
I don’t stream. It’s too insecure.
Yes, for additional income.
I would consider it if I had the time! Maybe having toddler interruptions would bring some new humanity to streaming 🙂
I have streamed gameplay on Twitch in the past, Diablo, Fallout, etc. but I am not that good a gamer, so it is an embarrassing mess. However winning one of these laptops may help me up my gaming to a new level and gain a new audience! Thanks!!
Call of Duty Warzone
i wouldn’t. i’m not cool or young enough for anyone to be interested in watching that! lol
I would give this to my husband for him to stream. I have always encouraged him to stream and he said he didn’t have the right computer so if he had this gaming computer I think it would allow him to stream.
