With such a big screen, you can divide your monitor between different windows. You’re able to choose between several preset split screen options which allow you to view multiple applications atĀ once.

And if youā€™re someone that has a lot of windows open at once, youā€™ll also love the 5:9 preview option. It shows a preview of your different windows and lets you drag and drop them into the main screen area. Essentially, you can say goodbye to minimizing and maximizing screens ad nauseum.

Whatā€™s more, is that if you connect additional monitors, you can control the monitor separately or together, letting you get the best viewing experience for every screen. So no matter whether youā€™re watching the newest Netflix series, playing Red Dead Redemption 2, or working on a graphic design project, this monitor has the real estate and the features to make the experience of multitasking seamless.

  1. I would use this monitor to get a cut above the rest with the wide screen to seek out enemy’s in the battlefield. As well would be great for multitasking and working on multiple projects. Thanks for the contest and the chance to win! Please make my day!

  2. I would love to use it while programming to have windows and linux in VM side by side, and for doing assignments and CAD for university. I also would love it for gaming as I have a capable GPU but my monitor is very small!

  3. Well my girlfriend keeps complaining about her screen being too small and old so she keeps on threatening to use my tv for a moniter(I didn’t even know that’s a possiblity!) So I would give it to her that way I’m multi-tasking by keeping her happy and saving my television.

  4. I would use the LG 38WK95C UltraWide monitor, for photo editing and for gaming! All that screen real estate would be great to have! Also think the 5:9 preview would be great for helping with multitasking and being organized. I’ve watched YouTube reviews of this monitor and it makes me wish I had one!

  5. when I am editing photos for printing, I like to have one screen open with my photos and another screen open with my editing tool….this monitor would allow me to have both screens open which would save me a lot of time going between 1 screen and the other.

  6. my husband takes all the family pictures and makes amazing slideshows and videos with music. I think this would make his creations even more amazing

  7. The LG UltraWide Curved Monitor is marvellous and would be fantastic for viewing my photographs and my son no doubt would love to use it for his gaming.

  8. I am preparing a lot of autocad drawings and this would be just amazing to finally better see what I am doing and not constantly zooming in and out

  9. When my wife or I work at home, we have to use a laptop screen. Sometimes I hook up my archaic LED screen for a second screen but it is a first generation screen with poor colour and low resolution so it’s not all that useful. This screen would really help improve working at home. I’m also sure my boys would love an improved gaming experience as well.

  10. I’m a Comp. Sci. student. Multitasking visual studio, ssh clients, my web browser, and chat groups have become my norm. A monitor like this would greatly help me keep focus.

  11. I’d use the LG UltraWide Curved Monitor to create children’s educational material. Having multiple web-pages visible at the same time would be a huge help!

  12. As my children advance through school the technology the require becomes more complex. The LG 38WK95C would assist them to multi-screen their research with their presentation. (I am afraid to say more as I see the blog writer has a passion for fixing grammar and word fussiness and I do not want to make her cringe).

  13. My fiancee and 3 others run a lighting business were he and his colleges sell fans and lighting. They get these excell sheets that are 4000 line items and up, and they must take certain portions of the sheet and file them into other locations using split screen. This 38″ screen would help him see the entire list better than the microscopic view he has now, and the 5:9 view sounds like a god send. I would give this to him if I won, and make him so happy this Christmas.

  14. It would be great for editing photographs and designing web sites. Also great when you are comparing documents etc and need 2 or 3 on screen at the same time.

  15. Would love the lg computer moniter to work on one side and surf the net on the other side on split screen option

  16. Iā€™m an interior designer. I could fill this giant screen with a drawing or multitask with email , word processing, or internet pages!

  17. I would love to use this monitor for my video editing. Right I am using a 22 inch 1080p monitor with bad colors. Hope I win:)

  18. We have computer space in our living room, and are in desperate need of a new monitor! We would use this for multi-tasking gaming, streaming tv shows, homework, and for use for our home business.
