Gaming season is upon us and ASUS has some of the best products to create life altering gaming experiences. Without hyperbole, gaming transforms lives as much as transcendant music, or fine art, or award-winning topical cinema. In fact, many video games incorporate a stellar soundtrack, stunning visuals, and captivating, meaningful storylines for an interactive experience only possible on this medium. And to get the most from it, you need the kind of technology that ASUS offers. Enter this contest and become more immersed in your favourite games than ever: the prize is a monitor set up (featuring 3 ASUS VG245HY monitors) with an ASUS ROG Bezel Free kit.

Some games demand the best gaming monitor setup possible

Have you ever played something and realized part way through that the visuals were too good for your monitor or TV. The fact is, gaming consoles and gaming software are developing faster than many of us are replacing our hardware. Sure you get the storyline, and you get the audio, but the visuals may not be as immersive as they could be because of the inadequate gaming screens you are using.

“More screens” does not have to mean “more bezels”

No one likes bezels. The black outline around the screen usually breaks the immersion that multi-monitor configurations promise. ASUS has a solution for that with their seemless bezel kit. I sent the prizes for this contest to Dave Neufeld so he could show how to set up the monitors. Read his review to learn more; watch his video (added here for your convenience to see the difference it makes to the gaming environment).

This is a great time of year to boost your gaming set up, and to order many of the great new games announced during our “Play at Best Buy” summer event. It starts in June and continues throughout the summer with great announcements of new games, new gaming tech, and amazing gaming deals. Enter this contest now, and follow the blog for gaming news and more great contests.

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter once here on the contest page and once below the review article by Dave Neufeld. In a comment, tell us games you have played or would like to play that would be so much better wth this ASUS monitor set up with the bezel kit AND why.

  1. Counter-strike 1.6 ; because it won’t break the immersion that multi-monitor configurations promise!

  2. I would love to play “Dying Light 2”, when it releases later this year!. Can’t imagine how that game, or any other, would look on this setup! Even for my work software, this would be amazing.

  3. Automobilista would be fantastic to get really immersive with three ASUS VG245HY monitors with an ASUS ROG Bezel Free kit. It would enhance the feeling of driving in a real race with borderless monitors setup.

  4. I would have to say Bioshock or Doom would be unreal on this three screen set up. The sounds alone on bioshock were haunting and a wrapped three screen setup would be amazing. As for doom, can’t go wrong with the originator.

  5. Ohmadon would be good on these – maybe the greeches couldn’t sneak up from the sides if you could see them coming more easily…

  6. I almost hate to say it, but I loved playing Skyrim with just one small monitor – so it would be amazing to immerse myself in the same environment on multiple screens at once!

  7. I’d love to play Red Dead Redemption 2 across those screens more range more of that amazing landscape to see. It’d almost be like looking into a panoramic view of a spaghetti western.

  8. The 3 games I would play with this setup are Microsoft Flight Sim, F1 and WRC rally
It would be so nice to see out the side with this setup and would be awesome

  9. I’ve just discovered Borderlands and think that this setup would be amazing for it. I would definitely try to get some racing games with this setup though, it would feel like you’re actually in the car!

  10. I would love to play a game like flight simulator on this setup, it would almost feel like you were really there.

  11. Flight Simulator would be amazing on this monitor as it would be so realistic with the side views and forward views. Playing on the available horizon would be so fun and one would be immersed in this game!

  12. The immersive screen view is amazing! Terraria, minecraft, tf2, risk of rain…its a long list of games whose overall picture quality and expanse would be heightened with this setup. Love love love.
