Gaming season is upon us and ASUS has some of the best products to create life altering gaming experiences. Without hyperbole, gaming transforms lives as much as transcendant music, or fine art, or award-winning topical cinema. In fact, many video games incorporate a stellar soundtrack, stunning visuals, and captivating, meaningful storylines for an interactive experience only possible on this medium. And to get the most from it, you need the kind of technology that ASUS offers. Enter this contest and become more immersed in your favourite games than ever: the prize is a monitor set up (featuring 3 ASUS VG245HY monitors) with an ASUS ROG Bezel Free kit.

Some games demand the best gaming monitor setup possible

Have you ever played something and realized part way through that the visuals were too good for your monitor or TV. The fact is, gaming consoles and gaming software are developing faster than many of us are replacing our hardware. Sure you get the storyline, and you get the audio, but the visuals may not be as immersive as they could be because of the inadequate gaming screens you are using.

“More screens” does not have to mean “more bezels”

No one likes bezels. The black outline around the screen usually breaks the immersion that multi-monitor configurations promise. ASUS has a solution for that with their seemless bezel kit. I sent the prizes for this contest to Dave Neufeld so he could show how to set up the monitors. Read his review to learn more; watch his video (added here for your convenience to see the difference it makes to the gaming environment).

This is a great time of year to boost your gaming set up, and to order many of the great new games announced during our “Play at Best Buy” summer event. It starts in June and continues throughout the summer with great announcements of new games, new gaming tech, and amazing gaming deals. Enter this contest now, and follow the blog for gaming news and more great contests.

  2. I think Doom would be the first thing I’d try on this new setup — my current monitor is pretty old and pretty poor quality. Thanks for the chance!

  3. I would love to play any game on this setup because I would feel so much more immersed in the game I am playing, especially RPGs which are my favorite genre. 🙂

  4. Any racing game, but GT7 when it comes out so that you can see would be challengers and block their line.

  5. I haven’t played before but have seen others play Call of Duty. The graphics would make anyone completely immerse in the game.

  7. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales would be my new choice of game I used to play Doom a long time ago then I got busy with life and now I want back into gaming !

  13. This is so cool. My son is in his fourth year of Game Design at Sheridan and could do some serious design on this. He plays on steam all the time. I would probably play something lame like Clue on steam, he would play something like A Hat in Time or Cuphead.

  16. Call of Duty with 1920×1080 resolution, 75hz refresh rate and improved peripheral views. What’s not to like.

  17. I am a big fan of first person shooters on the PC platform, like Battlefield 1, and I feel this ASUS monitor setup with the bezel kit would really improve my immersive experience during gameplay. A seamless monitor setup like the one presented creates a wraparound visual effect – almost like you’re inside the game you’ve chosen to play.

  18. It would be amazing to play Call Of Duty Warzone on this. You could see everything around you without needing to pan!

  19. I would like to play Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege on this monitor for the added peripheral awareness.
