However, I saved two of those samples for this month because I assumed BenQ would be announcing lots of new gaming technology at CES 2023. I was right and they did announce new amazing monitors, new projectors, and more. Gaming requires better tech than business applications

  1. I don’t own a gaming monitor but would love to. The screen clarity can’t be beat. The most important feature though is the response time.

  5. I don’t own a gaming monitor. I like them for their fast fresh rates. And it would be nice to get something bigger than my 17″monitor.

  7. I do not own a gaming monitor. I consider the resolution found in gaming monitors to be the most important for my needs.

  20. LOVE enQ will be showing the 240Hz EX270M and EX270QM, and the 4K EX3210U with 144Hz refresh rates. The company will also be demonstrating its exclusive HDRi technology. HDRi reportedly optimizes the HDR effect based on the ambient lighting conditions. It can do things like add high dynamic range to content that isn’t available in HDR quality while maintaining the proper brightness levels. There are dedicated HDRi modes for gaming and movies as well.

  22. My needs would be want a nice, crisp image at all times, and a high refresh rate combined with a fast response time will do it. These are generally the features that make a gaming monitor a gaming monitor. Things to keep in mind for response time: Keep response times at 5 ms or faster

  25. I don’t own a gaming monitor. For its true purpose, a high refresh rate would be important. However, I would prefer high resolution as I read many texts and spreadsheets.

  33. To me, size and quality of picture are the biggest factor when I’m purchasing things like a gaming monitor or similar. It needs to be decent sized yet also have a decent image. If the colours on the monitor are poor or images are fuzzy, then it’s not worth it to me even if it might be way cheaper then a similarly sized monitor.

  37. I don’t have a gaming monitor yet. Probably the most important feature of one would be speed and clarity of the picture.

  46. I have a gaming monitor and for me, refresh rate and resolution are the most important features besides display size (>= 27 inch).
