How much storage do you need?

I actually sent this product to Dave Neufeld for a review from a gamers viewpoint, and to Brad Moon for a review from a productivity viewpoint. Dave found that as a gamer, this was the ultimate epicenter of his gaming setup. Brad, however, suggested that you might not get the most from this unless you regularly managed large files, and had a computer capable of capitalizing on the high data transfer rates from the Firecuda.

  8. I do a lot of skateboard photography and drone videos so the 4TB would be amazing for storing all my footage because pics and videos take so much space. Right now my computer lags as The memory is pushed to its limits.

  23. This day, with all the data we store and now high photos, space can become a major issue. Cloud storage/services are nice, but on prem storage is a must. I’d like 16+TB Raid 5 for the extra protection.

  45. I need around 4TB with photos and videos over the years. For gaming I’d manage with 2TB comfortably. But really any amount of backup is good to get critical files like documents and precious photos.
