 It used to be if you wanted big picture there was only one way to go: projection. By projecting an image onto a screen, you could get screen sizes unheard of in the TV display space – everything from 80” and up was possible with a projector. As TVs have grown the projector market has matured, offering not just larger images but practical benefits as well, such as richer colour, more light, and better motion. So when should you use a projector, and what should you look for? Read on.

    I recently posted on what to look for when buying a new TV, which made me think it might be helpful to explain some of the TV terminology that you will encounter in your search. There are a lot of TV technology terms out there, but I will discuss those that I think are more important when evaluating TV’s.
