Get inspired to create amazing food with a new Breville appliance

Canadians have been rediscovering their kitchen lately. This has been more challenging for some people. Even for me, someone who absolutely loves cooking and creating and experimenting with food, there are days when I don’t feel it.

A new appliance always helps, but one of the new Breville microwaves would totally solve that problem. We recently had two of their newest models reviewed. You should read the reviews of those machines: you’ll be astounded by the variety for foods you can make.

We’ve all used microwave ovens and I think my experience on my 5 year old machine is probably quite typical. You put something in, turn it on, the timer rings, you take it out, stir, put it back in and repeat, until it finally it’s so hot you burn your mouth (and somehow there is still that one section that is ice cold!).

For each entry, tell us one food item or recipe that you would make in one of these Breville ovens if you win. You must specify which oven you are referring to in your comment. For example, a valid entry might be: if I win the Breville 3 in 1 oven I will make a decadent chocolate cake.

Also each entry must be unique: if you enter here and on one of the review article, you must specify a different food item.

  17. I would like to see my girls eyes pop out when she comes home from Covid 19. I have been buying her some goodies now, in anticipation of her coming home. This looks like an awesome machine to replace an old micro-wave and a worn down toaster oven. Not sure exactly what item i would cook in it but apparently it works for everything!! Thanks for this opportunity. Fritata’s, grilled sandwiches, you name it, this Breville 3 in 1 oven can do it!!

  23. If I won the Breville Countertop 3-in-1 Convection Microwave Oven, I’d make Protein Power Mug Muffins.
    Easy and healthy recipe: 2 Tbsp golden flaxseed, 2 Tbsp almond flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp maple syrup, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 large egg beaten with a fork, 1 tsp olive oil. Just mix in a mug and microwave for 1 minute.

  36. Difficult to pick a specific recipe we have an older Breville Toaster Oven 5 years now and as Senior we use it for 90 percent of our meal cooking requirements. 365 days a year. This would be a Great New Breville 3 in 1 oven for us.

  41. I would try chicken wings in the Breville Countertop 3-in-1 Convection Microwave w/ Air Fry. lightly dredged in flour and then some coated with honey garlic sauce and some with seasoning salt. The whole family would love. it.

  45. I would love to try air-fried boneless, skinless chicken thighs–or perhaps roasted. It would be amazing to try different methods of cooking in one appliance!
