  1. Gamepass is definitely the best value in gaming compared to all of the competition. The fact that every first party game comes to Gamepass day one is insane considering you can play through $80-90 games for a month for $12, meanwhile PS Now really only has games that are years old. It seems like Gamepass has become a sort of replacement for renting games since places like Blockbuster are long past gone and since availability of titles is unlimited, this is a really good substitute.

Having the online aspect of Halo Infinite be free to play seems like a pretty good decision too since the player counts are much more likely to remain high and, I assume, it will have online microtransations to make up for the money they are missing out on. I have to think they saw the success of Fortnite and thought that they would try and follow that model with a massive IP like Halo. Hopefully it works out.

  2. I’ve got dibs on the character with the robot companion in Redfall!

Also Back 4 Blood is day one GamePass! I am ready.

  3. Although I’m excited for a new Forza Horizon, I think I’ll just keep riding out my Horizon 4 until I eventually upgrade my Xbox. And then it looks like I’ll be picking up Starfield while I’m at it!

  4. Interesting to see how hard GamePass is getting pushed these days.

The games announced seem pretty interesting, but it’s the co-op games again that catch my eye the most.
Still too early to say, but Redfall looks like something up my alley – especially with the vampire lore.

  5. There were so many great games showed off in this presentation! I’m definitely going to have to buy an Xbox Series X before Halo Infinite arrives this fall!

My favourite trailer in the presentation was for Party Animals. This looks like a game filled with extreme craziness.

Thanks Jon! I’m excited for what else E3 is going to deliver this year!
