E3, the annual trade show event for the video game industry, might be cancelled again this year, but major game publishers have been and continue to announce their latest games for the coming year. Play at Best Buy is returning so you can learn about all gaming news in our articles and preorder many of the games soon after they are announced (or learn when to expect preorders to begin). How to enter our Play at Best Buy contest

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. From May 20th to June 30th, in a comment below this article, tell us what gaming gear that is available at Best Buy you would like to get, and how it would improve your gaming experience; you must include the link to that product from the Best Buy website in your comment. 
  2. Article ImageFrom June 3rd to June 30th, Best Buy will hide a coin (like the one you see here) somewhere on the Play at Best Buy event page;  click on that coin to reveal a secret code located somewhere on the next page. Once you have the code, email it to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with “Play at Best Buy Contest” in the subject. Do not post the code in a comment on the blog. Each Friday during June (for a total of four Fridays) the Best Buy team will place the coin in a new location on the Play at Best Buy event page and clicking on it will lead you to a new secret code that you can then email to the blog team for an additional contest entry. That means you can enter four times by emailing those four unique codes. Make sure to come back to this contest and send each week’s unique code to our email address for the best chance to win! 

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will randomly draw 8 winners from all eligible entries posted on the blog (in English and French) and sent via email; each will receive one of the prize packages listed here: Xbox Series S package, Nintendo Switch OLED package, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition package, Samsung Smart TV, Meta Quest 2, Razer package, HyperX package, and Corsair package.

This contest runs from May 20th until June 30th.

Remember you can enter once in a comment here and up to four times in an email as described above.     • My apologies, per the guidelines a headset will let me communicate with the team on Infinite and make some friends on Forza Horizon. I’ve been unable to communicate so far lol.

  44. I’ve just moved out with my girlfriend. We are hoping to get a ps5 as she is a huge harry potter fan and wants to be able to play the new game when it comes out!
