How to enter our Play at Best Buy contest

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. From May 20th to June 30th, in a comment below this article, tell us what gaming gear that is available at Best Buy you would like to get, and how it would improve your gaming experience; you must include the link to that product from the Best Buy website in your comment. 
  2. From June 3rd to June 30th, Best Buy will hide a coin (like the one you see here) somewhere on the Play at Best Buy event page;  click on that coin to reveal a secret code located somewhere on the next page. Once you have the code, email it to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with “Play at Best Buy Contest” in the subject. Do not post the code in a comment on the blog. Each Friday during June (for a total of four Fridays) the Best Buy team will place the coin in a new location on the Play at Best Buy event page and clicking on it will lead you to a new secret code that you can then email to the blog team for an additional contest entry. That means you can enter four times by emailing those four unique codes. Make sure to come back to this contest and send each week’s unique code to our email address for the best chance to win! 

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will randomly draw 8 winners from all eligible entries posted on the blog (in English and French) and sent via email; each will receive one of the prize packages listed here: Xbox Series S package, Nintendo Switch OLED package, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition package, Samsung Smart TV, Meta Quest 2, Razer package, HyperX package, and Corsair package.

  29. I would have to go with the Razer skur x ergonomic faux leather Gaming chair hands down. That would most definitely make my Gaming Experience better because I would be comfortable.

    When you’re playing Video Games for hours you want to be comfortable so this Chair would help a lot and I think it would also help you from getting a sore back etc. I like thee look of the Chair it would blend in well with my Living room.

    I’ve heard nothing but great reviews about this Chair so I know it would definitely be beneficial to have it it’s something worth investing in.   31. This is a Headset I would like to have because I don’t have any wireless headset and in 2022 this is the way to go. We need more wireless things and turtle beach is such a nice company never had any problems.   37. The PlayStation 5 (Digital Edition) and the ASTRO gaming headset would be awesome to have. For a long time, I played on my roommate’s PS4, which convinced me that PlayStations are my favourite console (the last time I had one was the PS2, and eventually I gave that to someone else). I would very much like to get a PS5 so I can play new releases that I’m looking forward to, plus I haven’t owned a gaming console in years.
