Celebrate the fun and excitement of PC Gaming during Intel® Gaming Week. Best Buy Canada kicks it off with great deals on Intel-powered laptops and PC Gaming accessories that will boost your gaming experience in ways you can only imagine. Running from May 12th to 26th. Intel Gaming Week features some of the top names in PC gaming including MSI and Dell (who supplied the prizes for this contest). Read on to learn more about Intel’s most advanced processors, including Intel’s 12th Gen processors released this year. Then enter for your chance to win one of the two amazing laptops we are giving away.
Step up your gaming and leap ahead of the competition
Last year Intel released the amazing 11th Gen H Series processors bringing desktop calibre performance to laptops. Intel called it, “Desktop power for any desk” because Intel-powered laptops have evolved to deliver comparable performance of a bulky desktop so you can play high resolution, maximum frame rate games anytime and anywhere.
This year Intel announced an evolutionary leap in computing with their 12th Gen series of processors. We covered the main features of this announcement in an article on the blog at the beginning of this year. Gamers will get huge performance improvements thanks to the new hybrid architecture. The 12th Gen series mobile processors feature up to 6 Performance cores (P-cores) optimized for maximum responsiveness, and up to 8 Efficient cores (E-cores) optimized for threaded workloads and background tasks. Power gamers will be able to overclock both sets of cores to get faster performance than ever before.
Built for the next generation of gaming
Obviously, a gaming laptop is used for much more than just gaming. The ability for a laptop to keep gaming performance at maximum intensity while also performing complex background tasks is becoming more and more important. Many games require a steady connection to the internet during a game, for competing and for communicating with team mates in other cities; for downloading game components and add-ons; and more.
One of the most demanding auxiliary tasks that gamers do is live streaming or live recording for later playback of their gameplay. There are many people already streaming on Twitch and YouTube, and most are not able to stand out. The fact is, many gamers don’t have a machine powerful enough to keep their gaming at a peak level while they stream: the demands of streaming can dramatically impact the quality and consistency of gameplay, and thereby affect how engage their audience is. Imagine the challenges for a laptop to try to keep up with the complexities of a battle, the graphic demands and more, while at the same time capturing the action and sharing it over the internet. 12th Gen Intel® CoreTM powered laptops were built so you get the best of both worlds: the best gaming laptop and the best multitasking laptop ever created. Streaming with a laptop like this may be just what you need to stand out from the crowd.
Now is your chance to take on the world
Intel Gaming days are your chance to find the right machine for your gaming needs at a great price. Throughout the event you’ll find great deals on the newest 11th gen and 12th gen Intel powered laptops. You’ll also find great deals on gaming monitors and peripherals. And you can enter this contest for a chance to win one of these two amazing laptops!

How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways.
- In a comment below, tell us would you consider streaming your gameplay if you had one of the new laptops as discussed above, and why or why not. If you already stream your gameplay, do you post on a social site like YouTube or Twitch or just for fun (you can put your channel link here for some free advertising if you wish).
For up to three (3) additional entries, create a public post on a social media channel (one entry per channel!) telling your friends and followers that you are entering to win a Dell or MSI laptop from the Best Buy Blog’s Intel Gaming days contest; include the hashtag #BestBuyContest, so we can find your post, and include a picture of the prize like that shown here. Then return here and tell us in a comment below, on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that I can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc) but the post must be public so we can verify it is there. Add one comment below for each social media channel for up to 3 contest entries.
What you can win
At the end of this contest we will randomly select two (2) winners from all eligible entries. One will receive the Dell G15 15.6″ Gaming Laptop and the other will receive the MSI GS66 Stealth 15.6″ Gaming Laptop.
This contest runs from May 6th to May 26th.
Remember you can enter in two different ways as described above. However, tell your friends to visit Best Buy during Intel gaming days to check out the deals and so they too have a chance to win a great gaming laptop.

I would consider streaming
I would consider streaming my gameplay if I had one of the new laptops because then I would have the hardware to handle it.
I would not steam, rather use MS flight simulator
If I was any good as some games I would stream, but just an average player
I would not consider streaming
its just for fun.
I probably would not consider streaming as I just play for my families enjoyment

I would not consider streaming because it is for my eyes only.
Well, I was already thinking about streaming some games since my daughters want me to. So if I had a really powerful device such as one of the gaming laptops I’m sure it would make the experience of streaming even better.
Play just for fun , no streaming for me , well yet anyway
I would not stream my gameplay because I am just any good and I play only for fun but a good retirement hobby.
Stream my game play……..god no!
I would not/do not stream my game play. Who cares about MY game play except the people I’m playing with/against in that moment…?
I would not stream my gameplay. I’m not good enough but also don’t have the time, i squeeze in gaming where i can.

I would not consider streaming – I just play for my own enjoyment.
It would be highly unlikely for me to stream my game
A new laptop would encourage me to do so however
I don’t think I’d stream my game because I’m not interested in that type of thing.
Yes, I would stream my game play. It’s fun to do, and the appeal of an audience watching play games is enough to motivate many people to try.
I don’t think I would stream my gaming as a rule but I would certainly give it a try and see if it is something that works for me.
I probably still wouldn’t stream my game playing because I would find it too stressful and wouldn’t be able to actually enjoy my gaming!
I would stream my game if I was taught how to do it, but I guess I could figure that out if I won this laptop.
Well, if I streamed my gaming, it’d be good for a laugh. I suppose I could teach “How not to…..”
I can’t imagine that I would stream my game- I’m not that good at either gaming or streaming! But maybe a new laptop would encourage me to do so.
I wouldn’t be streaming, more fun and relaxing on my own
Like most of those who have already commented — no streaming, just playing for fun.
I likely would not stream my game. More fun to do it for my own relaxing time.

I would not consider streaming my gameplay for the simple fact I am terrible. Who would want to watch that? Practice, practice, practice, then maybe.
I would stream with the new laptop
I’m not much of a streamer – I just love playing to pass my time and challenge my friends in gaming.
I wouldn’t stream until I became better at the games. At the moment I simply like to play for my enjoyment.
I would not stream my gameplay because I just like to play on my own time and have fun by myself.

Either of these computers would be perfect for streaming gameplay!
if I had the Dell G15 15.6″ Gaming Laptop or the MSI GS66 Stealth 15.6″ Gaming Laptop. I would not stream, but my children might if they used it. I just play games for myself, no pressure then. lol, Thanks for the opportunity.
I would not consider streaming my gameplay if I had one of the new laptops as discussed above because I am not good enough at them to be of interest.
