Celebrate the fun and excitement of PC Gaming during Intel® Gaming Week. Best Buy Canada kicks it off with great deals on Intel-powered laptops and PC Gaming accessories that will boost your gaming experience in ways you can only imagine. Running from May 12th to 26th. Intel Gaming Week features some of the top names in PC gaming including MSI and Dell (who supplied the prizes for this contest). Read on to learn more about Intel’s most advanced processors, including Intel’s 12th Gen processors released this year. Then enter for your chance to win one of the two amazing laptops we are giving away.
Step up your gaming and leap ahead of the competition
Last year Intel released the amazing 11th Gen H Series processors bringing desktop calibre performance to laptops. Intel called it, “Desktop power for any desk” because Intel-powered laptops have evolved to deliver comparable performance of a bulky desktop so you can play high resolution, maximum frame rate games anytime and anywhere.
This year Intel announced an evolutionary leap in computing with their 12th Gen series of processors. We covered the main features of this announcement in an article on the blog at the beginning of this year. Gamers will get huge performance improvements thanks to the new hybrid architecture. The 12th Gen series mobile processors feature up to 6 Performance cores (P-cores) optimized for maximum responsiveness, and up to 8 Efficient cores (E-cores) optimized for threaded workloads and background tasks. Power gamers will be able to overclock both sets of cores to get faster performance than ever before.
Built for the next generation of gaming
Obviously, a gaming laptop is used for much more than just gaming. The ability for a laptop to keep gaming performance at maximum intensity while also performing complex background tasks is becoming more and more important. Many games require a steady connection to the internet during a game, for competing and for communicating with team mates in other cities; for downloading game components and add-ons; and more.
One of the most demanding auxiliary tasks that gamers do is live streaming or live recording for later playback of their gameplay. There are many people already streaming on Twitch and YouTube, and most are not able to stand out. The fact is, many gamers don’t have a machine powerful enough to keep their gaming at a peak level while they stream: the demands of streaming can dramatically impact the quality and consistency of gameplay, and thereby affect how engage their audience is. Imagine the challenges for a laptop to try to keep up with the complexities of a battle, the graphic demands and more, while at the same time capturing the action and sharing it over the internet. 12th Gen Intel® CoreTM powered laptops were built so you get the best of both worlds: the best gaming laptop and the best multitasking laptop ever created. Streaming with a laptop like this may be just what you need to stand out from the crowd.
Now is your chance to take on the world
Intel Gaming days are your chance to find the right machine for your gaming needs at a great price. Throughout the event you’ll find great deals on the newest 11th gen and 12th gen Intel powered laptops. You’ll also find great deals on gaming monitors and peripherals. And you can enter this contest for a chance to win one of these two amazing laptops!

How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways.
- In a comment below, tell us would you consider streaming your gameplay if you had one of the new laptops as discussed above, and why or why not. If you already stream your gameplay, do you post on a social site like YouTube or Twitch or just for fun (you can put your channel link here for some free advertising if you wish).
For up to three (3) additional entries, create a public post on a social media channel (one entry per channel!) telling your friends and followers that you are entering to win a Dell or MSI laptop from the Best Buy Blog’s Intel Gaming days contest; include the hashtag #BestBuyContest, so we can find your post, and include a picture of the prize like that shown here. Then return here and tell us in a comment below, on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that I can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc) but the post must be public so we can verify it is there. Add one comment below for each social media channel for up to 3 contest entries.
What you can win
At the end of this contest we will randomly select two (2) winners from all eligible entries. One will receive the Dell G15 15.6″ Gaming Laptop and the other will receive the MSI GS66 Stealth 15.6″ Gaming Laptop.
This contest runs from May 6th to May 26th.
Remember you can enter in two different ways as described above. However, tell your friends to visit Best Buy during Intel gaming days to check out the deals and so they too have a chance to win a great gaming laptop.

I would not stream my gaming, no way. I just want a really fast laptop to be super efficient and be able to play.
I would not stream games, but I know my kids are interested in streaming to youtube…if only they had a computer that capable!
I would definitely consider streaming with one of these gaming laptops as they both seem more than capable of handling a boatload of tasks at the same time! Gaming and streaming would be so smooth!
I love being able to share VR experiences with those close top me, especially Beat Saber. Unfortunately my current 3rd generation Intel CPU wasn’t designed with the latest and greatest streaming capabilities nor portability. At a minimum it would be great to have the portable horsepower of Intel’s 12th generation CPU’s to stream online for those willing to watch me make the top 10 rankings on any number of my favorite Beat Saber jams or even just share gaming experiences with my friends and family.
Thank you kindly #BestBuy, #Intel, #BestBuyContest
Cheers, GL HF!

i wouldn’t stream because i’m not that skilled
I would certain games but not all. Not that good
Would not stream . My egos not that large
I don’t think I am good enough to consider streaming at all.
I’m not interested in streaming, just keeping it more private.
I personally have never tried a laptop gaming system but my two sons ages 12 and 9 have been asking for a laptop to play games on. Thanks for the chance. I know they would love this. I have shared this on Facebook and Instagram and love to review products.
I wouldn’t stream. My gaming isn’t that interesting.
Streaming games
Would not stream – don’t think anyone would want to watch me!
I wouldn’t stream because I prefer to play games on my own, but I would love one of these laptops.
Would not stream. Gaming is a relaxing fun thing for me wouldn’t want to risk ruining that.
Tweeted about the contest. @skultechm0m
would stream on the MSI GS66 Stealth 15.6″ Gaming Laptop!
I would try streaming and do a walkthrough of games. I would also like to do an interactive multiplayer kind of videos.
And I also entered on TW: findzoey, thanks for the chance! 🙂
i entered on FB Lori Novak thank you! 🙂
I shared on IG: adistantship thanks for the chance!
I am entering this to win it for my nephew, so I guess I don’t plan on streaming games. Thanks, #BestBuy!
I might consider streaming if I had one of these amazing computers!
I wouldn’t feel comfortable streaming my gameplay – I play with family members though.
I would consider streaming my game play if I got really good at it.
I would consider streaming with one of these laptops. There is demand for a Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe streaming channel right??
I mostly play on console and don’t stream, but if I had one of these laptops, I would highly consider trying to stream some of my gameplay on twitch, and seeing if there’d be a community interested in my content.
My son would definitely consider streaming his gaming. He is an avid gamer and would love to share his skills!
I’d probably do Halo series campaign play throughs of all the games in order.

I would not stream no matter what gaming system I was using. That isn’t my style of game play.
I’ve never considered streaming my gaming, personally don’t believe anyone would want to watch me play a game and I’m generally a pretty private person.
Would definitely stream! I’ve been trying to stream on my current laptop but it is choppy and slow haha. All 4 of my twitch followers would be proud if I had a proper laptop hahah
I do not currently stream as my laptop is barely able to run games on low resolution settings itself, but I would definitely consider streaming my gameplay if I had one of these laptops because they would be able to run both the game and streaming software no problem!
I might consider streaming. I have before in the past, but it’s a lot of work!
I would stream my gaming because I play for my own enjoyment.
I also posted this contest on Twitter, through my account @ChanSelig
I would not stream . It does not interest me .
I would consider streaming my gameplay because I am pretty competitive at any game I play. However, I currently DO NOT stream my gameplay because I have not bothered with having a setup for it and I cannot see myself of being much of a narrator to keep viewers interested beyond competitive gameplay.
i would stream
I wouldn’t stream. I play on my own
I do not stream my gameplay but I record it so I can show cool clips I did to my friends in various first person shooter games I play.
I would not stream because I prefer to play privately.
I would not stream because I’m too shy,
I don’t stream. I just play privately
I would stream
