Celebrate the fun and excitement of PC Gaming during Intel® Gaming Week. Best Buy Canada kicks it off with great deals on Intel-powered laptops and PC Gaming accessories that will boost your gaming experience in ways you can only imagine. Running from May 12th to 26th. Intel Gaming Week features some of the top names in PC gaming including MSI and Dell (who supplied the prizes for this contest). Read on to learn more about Intel’s most advanced processors, including Intel’s 12th Gen processors released this year. Then enter for your chance to win one of the two amazing laptops we are giving away.
Step up your gaming and leap ahead of the competition
Last year Intel released the amazing 11th Gen H Series processors bringing desktop calibre performance to laptops. Intel called it, “Desktop power for any desk” because Intel-powered laptops have evolved to deliver comparable performance of a bulky desktop so you can play high resolution, maximum frame rate games anytime and anywhere.
This year Intel announced an evolutionary leap in computing with their 12th Gen series of processors. We covered the main features of this announcement in an article on the blog at the beginning of this year. Gamers will get huge performance improvements thanks to the new hybrid architecture. The 12th Gen series mobile processors feature up to 6 Performance cores (P-cores) optimized for maximum responsiveness, and up to 8 Efficient cores (E-cores) optimized for threaded workloads and background tasks. Power gamers will be able to overclock both sets of cores to get faster performance than ever before.
Built for the next generation of gaming
Obviously, a gaming laptop is used for much more than just gaming. The ability for a laptop to keep gaming performance at maximum intensity while also performing complex background tasks is becoming more and more important. Many games require a steady connection to the internet during a game, for competing and for communicating with team mates in other cities; for downloading game components and add-ons; and more.
One of the most demanding auxiliary tasks that gamers do is live streaming or live recording for later playback of their gameplay. There are many people already streaming on Twitch and YouTube, and most are not able to stand out. The fact is, many gamers don’t have a machine powerful enough to keep their gaming at a peak level while they stream: the demands of streaming can dramatically impact the quality and consistency of gameplay, and thereby affect how engage their audience is. Imagine the challenges for a laptop to try to keep up with the complexities of a battle, the graphic demands and more, while at the same time capturing the action and sharing it over the internet. 12th Gen Intel® CoreTM powered laptops were built so you get the best of both worlds: the best gaming laptop and the best multitasking laptop ever created. Streaming with a laptop like this may be just what you need to stand out from the crowd.
Now is your chance to take on the world
Intel Gaming days are your chance to find the right machine for your gaming needs at a great price. Throughout the event you’ll find great deals on the newest 11th gen and 12th gen Intel powered laptops. You’ll also find great deals on gaming monitors and peripherals. And you can enter this contest for a chance to win one of these two amazing laptops!

How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways.
- In a comment below, tell us would you consider streaming your gameplay if you had one of the new laptops as discussed above, and why or why not. If you already stream your gameplay, do you post on a social site like YouTube or Twitch or just for fun (you can put your channel link here for some free advertising if you wish).
For up to three (3) additional entries, create a public post on a social media channel (one entry per channel!) telling your friends and followers that you are entering to win a Dell or MSI laptop from the Best Buy Blog’s Intel Gaming days contest; include the hashtag #BestBuyContest, so we can find your post, and include a picture of the prize like that shown here. Then return here and tell us in a comment below, on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that I can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc) but the post must be public so we can verify it is there. Add one comment below for each social media channel for up to 3 contest entries.
What you can win
At the end of this contest we will randomly select two (2) winners from all eligible entries. One will receive the Dell G15 15.6″ Gaming Laptop and the other will receive the MSI GS66 Stealth 15.6″ Gaming Laptop.
This contest runs from May 6th to May 26th.
Remember you can enter in two different ways as described above. However, tell your friends to visit Best Buy during Intel gaming days to check out the deals and so they too have a chance to win a great gaming laptop.

Good luck.
i enjoy playing, but I don’t need to stream my game plays…..
I would not stream but with this laptop, we’ll see.
If I had the laptop, I would definitely stream with my friends over Steam.
I am just not interested in streaming.
I would stream with one of these new gaming computers, but I would try to stay off camera if possible
I probably would not consider streaming because I’m a novice.
I would never stream my gameplay. It would be too embarrassing!
I don’t stream, but I would certainly consider it if I got a new laptop.
No I would not stream because I am such a bad player

I would not consider streaming my gameplay because I’m not an elite gamer so I don’t think anyone would watch.
I won’t be streaming because I would have no audience if I did! 😉

I probably would not consider streaming because I’m a novice.
I would consider streaming my game play if I got really good at it.
I probably would not consider streaming my gameplay because I’m a novice and I’m pretty sure noone would be interested.
I would consider streaming my gameplay with one of these new laptops… whether anyone would want to watch my poor gaming skills is another question 🙂

I would absolutely consider streaming my gameplay… might inadevertently have a comedy angle to it, though. 🙂 Thanks for the chance!
I am not interested in streaming. One day my son would like to start streaming so that he can be one of those famous YouTubers. Streaming can bring in the wonderful types…or the cranky pants….and I like my gaming to be cranky pant free.
I’d try streaming since this system would be much more powerful than my current set-up.
I would use Twitch or YouYube to get real-time watcher feedback.
No streaming because you won’t be able to play as well when someone else is watching.
not interested in streaming
Streaming doesn’t interest me.
I would consider streaming, only because I’m a woman and have the time to do it. Could always be a good option for side money if you do well enough.
I would totally stream if my PC could handle it, I tried out OBS in the past few months and it just crashes now, probably my outdated PC, so I haven’t been able to. Terrible gamerdad for life! I’m not that great, but I would hope that one day I could gather a huge following and stream for a living, one can only wish, too busy with dad life haha

No streaming for me, don’t really care for other people to watch me playing games, or to watch others playing.
No streaming for me, I am a private person.
I wouldn’t be interested in streaming but I play games online. My kids would love to try streaming games though.
I wouldn’t be interested in streaming, I wouldn’t be good at commentating on my gameplay
I would definitely stream my gameplay if I were to win one of these laptops.
J’aimerais diffuser plus si je gagnais l’un des deux ordinateurs portables de jeu.
I would stream once I learn how to stream and the new system would help me to do that. Thanks for the opportunity.
No to streaming, but I would play the heck out of all the games on the laptop. Streaming seems like it would take a lot of work. I just want to play the games.
Unfortunately, I would have to say “no” to streaming my gameplay. Not only do I not actually play enough to make it worthwhile to do so, but the way I actually play games would just make people bored 🙂 ha ha ha I just like taking my time in most games where from what I see, most of those streams are super fast-paced, etc. Just not “me” in a sense. I think it’s great and fun, don’t get me wrong, but just not something I would ever do. I like my privacy 🙂
But if I must say, “if” by some lucky chance I am chosen, either of these amazing laptops will certainly help me with my work (in which I am currently working on helping create a new game that will be comihg out in the future that people WILL want to stream hopefully) 🙂
Thanks so much for the chance to win one of these awesome laptops, Martin & Best Buy…..good luck to all!
I would like to stream more if I did win one of two gaming laptops.

I would consider streaming if I got one of these! My current setup isn’t powerful enough for the games I want to play, let alone play them and stream at the same time so it’d be great to win.
No I am not interested in steaming I am not that good at it.
No streaming for me
