How to enter our Play at Best Buy contest

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. Head to Best Buy’s video game section and check out the newest games and accessories. Then, in a comment below, tell us which game or gaming accessory available at Best Buy you’re most excited about—and why.
  2. Social post: For an additional entry, create a public social media post about your participation in the Play at Best Buy blog contest. Share the prize package you hope to win and the first game you would play if you won. Use the hashtag #PlayatBestBuyContest, include a picture from this contest page, and make sure your post is public. Then, comment below with the social media channel you used and your username or pseudonym for verification. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), but the post must be public so we can verify it is there.

At the end of this contest, we will randomly draw 4 winners from all eligible entries posted on the blog (in English and French); each will receive one of the four prize packages listed here:

  1. I’m excited for the Nintendo Switch 2. Looks like a step up from the original, so it would be awesome to get one. Mario Kart World also looks amazing.

  4. The PlayStation VR2 would be my pick. I love how the headset can be adjusted for any size head, and you can also switch the view to see what is going on in the room in real time without having to remove your headset.

  12. I’m most excited for the Nintendo Switch 2. My love for Nintendo goes back to the Wii, truly a revolutionary gaming experience. The new switch looks like a step up to the original and Mario Kart World looks amazing.

  14. At Best Buy, I’m most excited about the Doom The Dark Ages Premium Edition for Xbox Series X. It offers early access, a digital artbook, a soundtrack, and exclusive skins. I love the medieval twist and the intense action it’s a perfect blend for a Doom fan.

  31. I’m most excited for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. I wanted to play this but it’s only on PS5 and I only have a PS4 so if I win this contest it would be a blessing. I’m most excited about this game because it’s based in 16th century Japan and the show Shogun is based on that.
