How to enter our Play at Best Buy contest

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. Head to Best Buy’s video game section and check out the newest games and accessories. Then, in a comment below, tell us which game or gaming accessory available at Best Buy you’re most excited about—and why.
  2. Social post: For an additional entry, create a public social media post about your participation in the Play at Best Buy blog contest. Share the prize package you hope to win and the first game you would play if you won. Use the hashtag #PlayatBestBuyContest, include a picture from this contest page, and make sure your post is public. Then, comment below with the social media channel you used and your username or pseudonym for verification. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), but the post must be public so we can verify it is there.

At the end of this contest, we will randomly draw 4 winners from all eligible entries posted on the blog (in English and French); each will receive one of the four prize packages listed here:

  7. I’m most excited for the PlayStation VR2 system! VR gaming intrigues me – I’d really like to try out playing these super-immersive games!

  8. I’m excited for the Nintendo Switch 2. My love for Nintendo goes all the way back to the Wii. Truly a revolutionary gaming experience. Games like Mario Kart and Wii Sports were so much fun and Mario Kart world looks like it could bring that same joy back. The Nintendo Switch 2 really looks like a step up from the original and it would be a blessing to to get my hands on it.

  9. I would be excited to try out VR headsets like the HTC Vive Pro 2 or Meta Quest 3 or maybe the PSVR 2 (not so sure about that one, as I lean more towards PC instead of consoles, and I suspect it may not do so well there).
