oculus quest 2 untethered gamingAn Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.

Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached

Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

    • What I love about the Oculus quest 2 is all the things you could do and you could finally break free now you could move with no cables you don’t even need a pc the Oculus quest is already the console it will be the funnest piece of technology invented! That’s what I love about the Oculus quest 2 hope I win bye!

  1. I would use this to virtually escape the confinements of my home due to Covid restrictions.
I Imagine it would be good for one’s mental and physical health

  2. It would allow us to enter the next wave of video games, VR world would be on unique and interesting environment, only a few can really explore and discover

  3. I love that it’s standalone and has first party VR titles. I’d use it to spend (virtual) time with my girlfriend.

  4. VR is growing and pretty soon everyone will have one with the way Oculus is pushing this product with such low prices and amazing functionality. It is holiday time so I’m personally saving for the family but to have an Oculus Quest 2 would mean I could help spread the VR world to others.

  5. I thought it was the strangest and kind of a scary thing until my family and I tried my sister in laws now we all want one so badI have five sons that are 12 and under and are huge gamers. We would use it for family game nightit would be pretty amazing to win them this for Christmas!

  6. I have never had a vr headset before and I think it would be a really good escape from covid, I don’t know much but I would play Star Wars, tales from galixy’s edge.

  7. I don’t have one but would love to try it on both movies and games. Seems like it would be really cool. Of course, if I won this one, I would have to buy a second one for the husband so that we could both do it together.

  8. I love that this is a family device that both I and my daughter would love. Experiencing a vr for me would be a first time experience, and im excited to see all it has in store.

  9. I’m excited for the higher resolution display and no screen door effect. I’d love to have one of these for the holidays!

  10. The Oculus Quest 2 evolves the experience from sales to user interface to new heights in accessibility. I’m looking forward to adding one of these to our after school programs at @steamboxri

  11. I love the fact the the quest 2 is all in one! My PC isn’t strong enough to run a conventional VR headset so this is perfect! I’d be using it to play games for sure!

  12. I love that I can access the Oculus Rift library in tandem with a VR-ready PC for an awesome gaming experience.

  13. I own an Oculus Quest 2 and it’s amazing!! We are even building a game room just to play vr. However, my daughter keeps using mine and sooooooo…I need another one.

  14. For me it’s the game play mechanics. You have to actually interact with an item in the way you would in real life, not just pressing a button. If you want to kneel behind a crate, lower yourself behind it, not like holding the “B” button on a gaming system. My 6 year old son is also in awe of the immersion and can’t wait to explore Galaxy’s Edge.

  15. I would absolutely loveee to get my hands on one of these. I had one for my phones years ago and as soon as I upgraded my phone it was of no use to me. The graphics on the Quest 2 seem superb to any other system. Since it is a stand alone system it doesn’t seem like it will be obsolete any time soon!

  16. I haven’t had the opportunity to try VR yet. Would love to give gaming a go, and to do it wirelessly with this unit would be super cool

  17. This oculus quest would be an awesome addition to my family, to be able to play games without no cords would be out of this world, and the exciting games that we can play as a family would be entertaining.

  18. I love the idea of wireless vr and i would use it to play co-operative games with my little brother with my rift S

  19. There’s no doubt that the current pandemic has divided everyone from each other. I am so grateful that technology like this exists so that we can once again connect and be close to friends and loved ones! If I won I would use this amazing device to watch movies with my family in apps like bigscreen and challenge my friends in games like echo vr. Not to mention being able to go fishing like the old days with someone who can actually sit next to you and talk with! Amazing stuff!

  20. I would probably use the quest for primarily gaming, and would probably hook it up to my new PC I’m about to build. A couple games I’ve always wanted to try for VR but never really got the chance were VR chat, superhot, FNAF help wanted and beat saber. I would probably watch a couple movies in VR, because I have never done so before and it would be really cool.

  21. My family used to own a PSVR. We loved to play as a family but all the wires, extra boxes, limitations etc made it difficult. The quest 2 seems to be an awesome system that my family and I would enjoy.

  22. Love the wireless feature since I don’t have a pc powerful enough to run one. I would use it to introduce my grandmother to virtual reality, since she seems fascinated by it.

  23. This is for my father. He’s getting on in years, and he would love the experience of a quality VR headset.
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Quest 2, and I was amazed at the smooth graphics, and ease of use. Also my mother would get a real kick out of seeing him happy.
