oculus quest 2 untethered gamingAn Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.

Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached

Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

  1. I love the fact that it’s wireless so I can just install the game and play! I would love to use this to stream on Twitch with my friends!

  2. This would be perfect for movies for me… i ove classic movies and this would really give an immersive experience

  3. I will use it for gaming of course and I like the the standalone nature of the headset. Just as the author though I dislike the mandatory Facebook login.

  4. I really like that you don’t have to have a PC to set it up and I would use it for Netflix and sometimes gaming

  5. I love this technology. I think it bring you more close gaming world. Make you feel part of it. Really want to try this.

  6. What I love best about it is how impressive of a feat it is for gaming. If you would of told me 5 years ago that quality VR could be played on a headset, without a powerful gaming rig behind it, I would of asked what you were smoking. I would use it to play blade and sorcery untethered and replace my aging Vive.

  7. I really enjoy using the Quest 2 for the titles on the head mounted unit, but also for PC Steam VR games. It’s really affordable, and the quality is great, especially considering the price! I hope this gets more people into VR.

  8. I love the quest 2s ability to watch movies while I sit and game even outside or making a guardian around my toilet for one of those long ones…atleast get a round of population one off.

  9. I love oculus and would like to upgrade from the cv1 but don’t have the money I would use it to play with friends

  10. I love the idea of virtual reality and would love to expand on it and try its current level. Would love to use it for creativity such as apps compatible with the piano thanks to sidequest or even Google paint brush.
Would also love to game on it like population one or echo

  11. I’m excited that VR is finally happening on a larger scale so everyone can enjoy it! I’ll be gaming for sure!

  12. So far I love it for multiplayer gaming with my friends. It’s so immersive and perfect for lockdown. Easy setup and wireless are huge bonuses too!!!

  13. Coming from the Oculus Rift CV1, the increase in fidelity is what I’m looking forward to the most. And Beat Saber FTW.

  14. I love that it doesn’t require a gaming pc. Especially how 2020 has eaten away at bank accounts this year, its nice that we can now play vr without having to purchase an expensive gaming pc!

  15. It’s the best standalone vr with touch controllers. I would love to vr play games on it and also on computer with link cable. I would also love to watch movies on big screen vr app. It’s really nice way to socialize in echo vr.

  16. I love that it’s wireless! Just bought one from Best Buy and can’t wait for it to arrive. Tried an HTC at a VR business and kept getting caught up in the cord.

  17. I have never experienced VR before and I would love to experience it l would love to play Medal of Honor above and beyond

  18. I love that the Oculus is wireless and self contained, plus 64GB of storage is a lot, as much as a lot of cellphones now. I would use for gaming, and seeing the future of gaming as VR gets better and better.

  19. Portable and minimalist, I use it for workouts and trust me it works, been burning like 600 Cal’s on each workout, the highly immersive 360 makes me live the game, its my home theater, especially with lockdown and long winter about to come it’s my favourite pastime.

  20. I really like the wireless capability and hand tracking. I will mostly be gaming on the headset but also watch movies.

  21. The wireless feature is definitely great. With this version I could play outside (my wifi goes far) and I wouldn’t need to worry about hitting a wall (or computer screen). Main use would be for gaming but I would still like to try looking at movies too.

  22. Wow I would really love this ! I have been trying to save for one for so long but have been unable because of the pandemic cutting my hours so low 🙁 I’m a huge gamer and after trying my friends occulus quest before covid, playing star wars and experiencing the force , first hand, was amazing. Climbing over lava. What an interesting and exhilarating rush! I’ve also been dying to show my dad, he doesn’t understand VR and used to be such a huge gamer! Would love to show him! Or even get on some horror games! The walking dead game looked amazing!

  23. I’d use it as a compact way to game! I have psvr but there’s much more available for the oculus.

  24. I love the fact that it helps us gain a VR experience with a reduced price
I would use it for exercising and gaming

  25. I want to get it because I never owned a vr headset and it seems pretty cool and if I get it then im a be happy

  26. We’re a family of 5 in the house and it gets a bit crowded, so I was thinking of getting one this Christmas because it would give us each so time apart in our own (virtual) world. I also really like that I could hook it up to my PC and have a good desktop headset. All around the quest just seemed like the right option for me, what with portability and what not.

  27. You can stream from your pc to your headset for PC level gaming as well as tether to it via Oculus Link

  28. I love that it adds an interactive layer to gaming and puts you in the experience more than any other gaming medium. And I would use it for gaming.

  29. I love the upgrade specs on the new Oculus Quest 2, and the flexibility to use oculus link and also able to go anywhere I want with it without being attached to a PC.

I will be using it play games and use the facebook integrations.

  30. I would love to use this in conjunction with the link cable to play PC VR games like half-life alyx and Pavlov.

  31. I love the oculus link cable which let’s me play racing games using my PC graphics processor. That’s what I’d use it for.

  32. Wireless VR is the next gen gaming. Would love to have a second set so can share the world with my wife.

    • The Quest 2 is awesome to stay active! I already have one but if I win another I plan to give it to a friend !

  33. I love that it’s wireless. That cable always annoyed me while using other VR headsets. I’m going to use it to hopefully get my girlfriend more into gaming and a ton of Beat Saber. Winning this would be a pretty sweet Christmas gift!
