oculus quest 2 untethered gamingAn Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.

Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached

Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

That combined with the more powerful hardware plus being able to link with my PC will make showing other the joy of VR much easier then with the CV1. The joy you get from seeing someone play in VR for the first time is mind blowing and I hope anyone who wins will do this and will bring more people to this amazing platform

  12. I love that I can physically workout right here at home without the expense of a gym and without risking contact with others during the pandemic. I would use a Quest headset to get in a shape and use it to meditate and relax.

  13. The thing I love most about the the Oculus Quest 2 would be the fact that it has wireless play and has high resolution screens to make super clear visuals. I’d mostly use the Quest for gaming but I would also love to try watching virtual reality videos and movies.

  14. I love that the Oculus quest 2 is standalone and can be wired to a PC. If I received a quest I’m not completely sure how I would use it. I definitely would play some games but I have never owned a vr headset before. The quest has been the closest headset I’ve come to buying but Facebook kinda scares me with there practices with the quest.

  15. Love the idea of both wireless and link capable in one headset. I’ve held off trying VR at home because there wasn’t a good blended solution, but Quest 2 seems to be a big jump in the right direction.

  16. The thing I love most about the the Oculus Quest 2 would be the fact that it has wireless play and has high resolution and clear visuals. I’d mostly use the Quest for gaming but I would also love to try watching vr videos and movies.

  17. Would love to use it to give wireless VR a shot, will for sure be using it to game and watch movies in bigscreen

  18. I love the idea of a standalone VR. The degrees of freedom in quest 2 is also something to experience after being stuck woth the terrible PSVR for a long time.

I will use it mainly for gaming.

  19. Having been confined at home for the past few months, I would definitely use the Oculus Quest 2 to play some games that will make me move and exercise while also releasing my anxiety!

  20. Beat saber has helped me get excited about playing games again. I’d love to be able to share that experience on the go with the quest 2 rather than being tethered to my ps4 all the time. VR truly is the future of gaming.

  21. What I love about the Oculus Quest 2?: I love that’s its a wireless, standalone unit.

What will I use it for?: Gaming and videos.

  22. I’ve played vr a dozen of times and I had the best time ever. I would love to use these to play the best vr games on Pc.

  23. I love the design of it aesthetically, and the immersiveness of the experience. I think that flying games would be the best experience to try with it! But shooters would also be very exciting!

    • I’ll use it to play games with friends! It’s the perfect thing to play during covid, cause you can connect with people without meeting in person 🙂

  24. I love that it can be tethered to a PC. I’m definitely playing some superhot vr and embracing my inner John Wick.

  25. The oculus is SO sleek looking! Love the color and even better it’s wireless ! So when I’m moving around it won’t get tangle. I would use it to play phasmophobia!!! Spoooky ☺️

  26. My kids have been asking for one of these all year. They have been working hard at home to show they deserve one for Christmas. We would use it for games and must have rollercoaster rides.

  27. Easy.

What I love is the sleek design and minimal impact to the user while wearing it (ie strain on neck etc), what I would use it for is also an easy choice – I don’t think any type of game can benefit more than a flight combat game! I’d love to try star wars squadrons for example.

  28. I would love to be able to use this Oculus Quest 2 to enjoy more family time with my husband and kids. I’ve read about the fitness apps that I can share with my husband (like Fitness Xr), and the apps that can be enjoyed by my whole family like Star Wars and Echo VR.
Would love to own one these !!

  29. I love that it is on the cutting edge of technology and shaping the future of gaming and I would use it for gaming.

  30. I love that the quest 2 is untethered, as I don’t have a lot of space on my boat for a traditional VR set up. I’m a winter caretaker on a remote island and would use it to connect with people via social media apps.

  31. I love the freedom of wireless and will be using it to play games, watch movies and tv shows, and can’t wait for Facebook Horizon.

  32. If bestbuy hooked me up with an oculus I’d give it to my little brother and watch him have the best xmas a kid could ask for. You guys are doing something very kind here. 10 points rewarded to bestbuy!

  33. Been meaning to get into VR app development and having this would be the a great opportunity so for that and ofcourse gaming. The portability is such a huge selling point with that much power
