How to enter our Play at Best Buy contest

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. From May 20th to June 30th, in a comment below this article, tell us what gaming gear that is available at Best Buy you would like to get, and how it would improve your gaming experience; you must include the link to that product from the Best Buy website in your comment. 
  2. From June 3rd to June 30th, Best Buy will hide a coin (like the one you see here) somewhere on the Play at Best Buy event page;  click on that coin to reveal a secret code located somewhere on the next page. Once you have the code, email it to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with “Play at Best Buy Contest” in the subject. Do not post the code in a comment on the blog. Each Friday during June (for a total of four Fridays) the Best Buy team will place the coin in a new location on the Play at Best Buy event page and clicking on it will lead you to a new secret code that you can then email to the blog team for an additional contest entry. That means you can enter four times by emailing those four unique codes. Make sure to come back to this contest and send each week’s unique code to our email address for the best chance to win! 

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will randomly draw 8 winners from all eligible entries posted on the blog (in English and French) and sent via email; each will receive one of the prize packages listed here: Xbox Series S package, Nintendo Switch OLED package, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition package, Samsung Smart TV, Meta Quest 2, Razer package, HyperX package, and Corsair package.

  18. I’d love to win a PS5 digital version bundled with horizon forbidden west. I’ve been wanting one since 2020 and due to study’s I’ve been quite busy and could never get my hands on one. This summer Id realy like to play the new horizon game as the first installment on my ps4 was so much fun. Not to mention being able to use ray tracing for playing games would truly level up my gaming experience along with it producing stunning 4kat 60fps would match with my bemq projector.   21. I would like to get the Horizon Forbidden West PS5 Bundle. It would improve my gaming experience because I’ve been stuck playing third party games on Nintendo hardware.

  40. I would absolutely adore a 1440p 144hz monitor! That way I can use my XFX 5700 to it full potential!
