Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

    Samsung is what I own today, I like what I’ve seen for their new QLED – Quantum processor.

    a) The new technology that I am excited about:


    Netflix Calibrated Mode, because it’s specially developed so you can enjoy Netflix Original Content as it was meant to be, faithfully reproducing the creator’s original intent and vision. I’m all about seeing things as intended.

    I don’t have to fiddle with the setting, it’s already done for me, everything else, Geek Squad for calibration services.

    

b) Favorite Sony model, definitely have to go with the Sony A8H, no compromises, also I gotta love that the feet are near the middle and not on the edge so it can support my current TV stand.

I also like the idea of a streamline television that blends in like a piece of art. Hence, I’m going to say that the LG 65″ 4K UHD HDR OLED webOS Smart TV (OLED65CXPUA) really catches my eye!
