BBY_GEN1.jpgI’ve always wondered when exactly I cross the threshold from “almost done with my holiday shopping”  to “officially a last minute shopper.” After much research this year (translation: putting off my shopping as long as possible), I’d say that time arrived approximately 2 days ago.

Yes, we’re officially getting down to the wire for holiday shopping and the big day is almost here, but that doesn’t mean the best gifts have passed you by. There are still so many great last minute gifts for everyone on your list, you’ll wonder why you even stressed about finishing your shopping. Here are a few that will be favourites for you and the person you’re giving them to:

Kohler Moxie Showerhead and Wireless Speakermoxie.jpg

If you haven’t heard of the Moxie yet, you’re in for a treat. An amazing Kohler showerhead and wireless speaker all in one, the Kohler Moxie Showerhead and Wireless Speaker lets you stream your favourite sounds via Bluetooth while you shower. I have one in my shower, and I’ve been known to drag guests into my bathroom just to check it out. I also uploaded this Vine video when I was first trying it out, and judging from the response, everyone wants a Moxie.

You can keep your smartphone, tablet, or laptop in the next room and still stream music because it can transmit from 32 feet away. And it doesn’t just give you great sound – the Moxie has 60 angled nozzles for a warm, comforting spray. Even if you wait until the last minute to buy one, the Moxie is such a great gift they’ll think you spent a ton of time shopping just for them.

Keurig.jpgKeurig 2.0 4-cup Coffee Maker

Second generation small appliances can be so much more fun than the first go-around. Case in point – the Keurig 2.0 Coffee Maker. While my first generation Keurig makes the most amazing coffee to ever grace my kitchen table, this Keurig 2.0 will be something I ask for this year. It’s the perfect last minute gift because it can brew both a single cup and a carafe of coffee. That’s 4 cups in one, and that carafe will save whomever you buy it for from going back and forth to the coffee machine. It can save them on K-cups too.

10148933.jpgGive them the gift of health

When the calendar turns from December to January, people’s minds turn from Christmas cookies to health and exercise. That’s why a juicer is the perfect gift for anyone who is interested in adopting a healthy lifestyle in 2015, and the Breville juicer is a great addition to any kitchen. It has an 850-watt motor to get the most juice out of fruits and veggies, and a 1-liter juice container if you’d like to make and store juice all day.

homedics.jpgHomedics Foot Massager

Have you ever taken off your shoes and rubbed your aching feet after a long day at work? Odds are someone on your list has too. That’s why the Homedics Foot Massager is such a great gift. It will give their sore feet a deep, warm kneading shiatsu massage, and has 12 massage modes for complete foot pampering. Plus, it has toe touch control so they won’t even have to bend over and adjust it. This is one gift they’ll be running home to use after every workday.

Mini-Sports Sets mini-hockey-set.jpg

Canada is the official country of hockey, and even if there is no snow and ice, kids love to have a pick up game right out on the street. Give them the gift of the NHL Mini Hockey Set and they’ll play for hours. It includes two fully assembled goals, 4 hockey sticks, 2 goalie sticks, 4 balls, and a carrying case. If hockey isn’t their game or you want to gift them with an inside game, try the Franklin Electronic Table Tennis To Go set. It comes with wireless paddles and balls, and it keeps score via a built-in wireless scoring system. All they’ll have to do is clip the net on any table and they’re ready to play.

crayola.jpgAll things Crayola

The fun never stops when you have Crayola under the tree. The Crayola Maker toys are so hot this year they’re one of the top toys on kid’s lists. You can choose from a ton of great Crayola kits like the Crayola Paint Maker, so the kids can create custom paint colours, or the Crayola Melt’N Mold factory that lets them create their own custom crayons and toys.

mario.jpgPlay Chess with Mario

Chess is such a great game for kids—it encourages strategic thinking skills and keeps them entertained for hours. Kids who love video games will love receiving the Super Mario Chess Collector’s Edition, and they can play a traditional chess game as they choose to battle between Mario’s Heroes and Bowser’s Troop. When they’re not playing, the set will make for a great display on a bedroom shelf.

Minecraft-gift-card.jpgThe Ultimate Last Minute Gift

Times have definitely changed when it comes to gift cards. They used to be looked at like a dead giveaway you were shopping last minute, but these days people absolutely love to receive gift cards. Not only does it let them choose what they like for themselves, they might have been saving for a big item and the gift card will really come in handy.

You can find great gift cards to suit everyone in the family, from Best Buy gift cards in multiple denominations, iTunes gift cards so they can load up that new iPad or iPhone with apps and music, or for the gamer in your life, prepaid game cards that will let them have even more fun with their Minecraft, World of Warcraft, or Steam games. There’s even a Netflix gift card if you’d like to set someone up with a Netflix subscription for a year.

Last minute gift shopping can be stressful, but with these gift ideas you won’t look like you waited until the very last minute at all. There are still so many great gifts out there to choose from, so grab your list and get ready to start crossing off names.

Happy Holidays!
