  11. I’m a Purist, i only game on PC, not because i dislike consoles, but mostly i prefer the freedom you get from playing online on PC, no subscriptions required to meet other players online, i don’t mind if i miss out 1 or 2 exclusives on the PS4 or Nintendo.

  22. I would say I am a combo Purist/Pragmatist. I would say from what I saw on BestBuy, the PC that would make some dreams come true would be the “Cybertron BLU-Print Workstation Intel Core-i9 9900X, 64GB DDR4, 2x RTX 2080 Ti 11GB, 960GB SSD, 6TB HDD, WiFi, Windows 10 Pro”

    18 Cores for mulching through video and audio encoding, plenty of Virtual Machines and of course gaming.
    64GB of Memory is a little low from what my dreams tell me. 128GB of the fastest, lowest latency RGB memory is what I would choose.
    One RTX 2080 Ti is fantastic, but with some games supporting mGPU, having that other one is icing on my cake, gravy on my mashed potatoes, Triple O sauce on my double double from White Spot and a Coffee Crisp at any moment of the day. (I don’t get those last two since moving to the US)
    Plenty of drive space to dual boot Windows 10 and Linux and hold my Steam, Epic, UPlay, GOG, Origin, itch.io and Gamejolt game libraries! (I probably missed a few, seeing as there are a ga-zillion of them)

Right now I run games off my laptop and it does ok for small map games like Rocket League(the main one I play), but recently I started playing some battle royal ones with some friends and it struggles. I would love a desktop with something like a 1080, 1080ti, 2070 super or 2080 in it. I don’t have any consoles and the limited time I have to play seems wasted on anything but Rocket League. I am not picky, would be greatly appreciated.

  37. I’d say I’m a purist type gamer. I have built my own PC and had a ton of fun building it to my customised spec and budget. I enjoyed researching all of the components I considered. The ASUS Zephyrus laptop would be awesome for me! I could use it not only to game and and rip rocket league but I could certainly photo edit on it as I enjoy doing as a personal hobby.

I’m a alpha gamer and if I wanted the best performance and if I had the money to spend on a pre build it would be the cybertron blu-print workstation I mean it’s supposed to be my dream and if it has to be a pre build then I would choose that with graphic cards that are way more then you need with a amazing processors and 5tb ssd that’s amazing probably would never need to upgrade my pc for 20 years

  50. I Love handhelds but when it comes down to it I’m a PC purist at heart. Picking from Best buy’s lineup it’s an easy choice for me the Cybertron PC TGVCLXGXH7A28BU – Coffee (Intel Core i7 8700/2TB HDD/240GB SSD/16GB RAM/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti/Windows 10) is the PC that calls to me.
