Garmin dash cams are reliable and easy to use. You likely know how useful they are. Dash cams have gone from a “nice-to-have” to a “must-have” addition to your vehicle. Car owners, truck owners—even motorcycle owners—realize the value of capturing the many unexpected events that happen on the road on digital video. Garmin has a wide selection of dash cams, like the Garmin 47, 57, 67W, and mini all to be given away in this contest. Read on to learn two of my favourite features and for a chance to win one of these Garmin dash cams.
Garmin dash cams provide clear and detailed recordings
Drivers want a dash cam that reliably captures high-quality video and high-definition still recordings. There’s a lot of factors that can affect the quality of the footage: fast moving cars, varying light and weather conditions can make capturing good videos and images even more difficult. There is a lot of technology built into Garmin dash cams to ensure quality images are captured and stored, and can easily be shared afterwards.
When looking for a dash cam, look for ones with the right resolution that can give you quality footages. With the right resolution, dash cams can give you a clear and detailed picture of the road that captures important details, such as plate numbers. Garmin dash cams have the standard 1440p HD and 1080p HD resolutions that, combined with its Clarity HDR optics feature, ensure you get clear and detailed footages day and night.
Save videos instantly with Garmin online storage vault
The videos and still photos your dash cam takes help provide a clear picture of incidents that happen on the road, so having a place online to save all of them just makes sense. Most people want a dash cam so they can show recordings of road incidents as proof, whether for insurance or police purposes, and your dash cam should make them readily available for you when you need them.
With Garmin dash cams you can quickly and easily upload, manage, and share videos online using its online storage vault. When your dash cam detects an incident or if you choose to save a video, it will automatically upload and store your files to the online storage vault for 24 hours. If you want to store your videos for a longer period of time, each Garmin dash cam comes with its own subscription plan.
Through the online storage vault, you can access your videos using your Garmin app, where you can view, trim, and export your videos to save on your phone. What I also like about this feature is that you can easily share your video with anyone simply by providing them a link to that video.

I like the continuous recording with a 140-degree field of view. Having a dash cam is becoming a must these days.
The Garmin 57 1440p HD Dash Cam Wi-Fi technology connects to the Garmin Drive app on your smartphone for remote access. the wide angle to watch for deer, we are commuters.
how easy it is to share the video, like if you are in an accident you can share with the police and insurance company

I like that the Garmin 57 1440p HD Dash Cam Wi-Fi technology connects to the Garmin Drive app on your smartphone for remote, Live View monitoring and alerts so that I would know my car is safe while I’m away from it.
I like the easy to upload option. It would help in my many RV road trips during camping season to capture exciting sites
Saving videos to the online storage vault
1080p resolution is a great feature, being able to pick finer details out of images would be very helpful
The low profile design is nice.
The low profile design is nice.
I love the wide angle motion picture, I can send my daughter pictures of myself and the dogs in the vehicle
Continuous recording and a 140-degree field of view: this is important and one doesn’t want to miss details.
online storage vult
The 140-degree field of view will be a benefit because if there is an issue you capture more of the scene and this will help in my defence in the event of an accident
The 1080p is a great feature. It is important to be able to read another cars plate to prevent fraud.
The wide angle high def video.
The 1080p resolution is a great feature. It is important to know that the other cars plate would be easy to read to prevent fraud.
The easily uploaded video footage onto my phone is the most important to me, and the garmin dash cam creates reassurance while driving on the road
Saving videos to the online storage vault would be great to have! Thanks for the chance!
Nothing better than a wide angle motion picture taking with me at the wheel.
A field of 180 degree is pretty nice. I would be included in every destination.
The warmer season is 6 weeks ahead of us. I would love to have a dash cam for all those wonderful moments in the car driving towards new destinations.
I like that they reliably captures high-quality video and high-definition still recordings. This would be quite useful on the many road trips that I am taking this summer.
The feature most important for me is the Garmin Clarity HDR Optics that will give me clear footage day & night. It will definitely benefit my driving, because I can be less stressed about all the other drivers not following the rules of the road, as their ‘errors’ will be captured on my cam and could be very useful if there were an accident. The footage of a dash cam tells a different story often between 2 drivers. And, it astonishes me, just how many people run Red Stop Signs in front of me, how many drivers pull out, on double lines.
I love the online storage vault to verify for insurance, just in case!
The 180 degree view
180 degrees is very nice.
180-degree view
The online storage is nice.
I love the fact that the dash cams record your trips. It’s a great tool in case you are in an accident and it shows what happens. This is especially good if you are not at fault.
The 180-degree view so we can always see our dog
The online storage for easier access!

and 180 degree lense
Online storage vault and ability to store and stay.
The online storage feature is most important to me for the ability to save and access video footage.
The on-line storage vault is a great feature! Thanks for the chance to win!
The high-resolution, clear detailed footage is important. We do deliveries for a business in our own vehicle, and drive around a lot, and it would be helpful for capturing any road mishaps
Saving videos instantly to the online storage vault is such an amazing feature!
The online storage is the feature that interests me the most. It would be great to not have to worry about storage on a card and to be able to quickly access it
I like the fact it saves them online in the storage vault.
I love how footage can be saved online. That would make my driving experience better because I won’t have to worry about taking a bunch of time to download and save videos somewhere.
The feature I like is “When your dash cam detects an incident or if you choose to save a video, it will automatically upload and store your files to the online storage vault for 24 hours” It will benefit the driving experience because it will give me confidence to know that everything is recorded in case of an emergency.
The clear detailed footage even at night is a huge plus. So many cams catch crazy driving and near misses but can’t make out the plate number on the footage.
I’ve been passed over a double line in a school zone twice already this year
I want a dash cam so they can show recordings of road incidents as proof that hopefully wasn’t my fault.
clear detailed footage day and night – if needed it would be good to have
it automatically saves incidents for 24 hours – hopefully not needed but good to have
