Food just tastes better on a grill. So it’s no surprise that I’m trying to make the experience portable. A portable BBQ will become your new best friend—and help you make lots of others.

Review: Prepara Herb Savor

I’m a big fan of herbs, especially basil. I grew up in a Persian household and herbs were always served with dinner. Wrapping feta cheese and fresh mint, dill, parsley or basil in warm Persian bread is especially delicious. I could live off that meal and never get tired of it. But I could never figure out how to get my herbs to last for a long time. I turned to Pinterest for a solution, and discovered the Prepara Herb Savor. I then noticed that Best Buy carried it, and asked them to send me a sample of this kitchen gadget to review.

We’ve entered the New Year and it’s an opportunity to motivate you to accomplish those resolutions. That being said, I assure you that this article won’t be on how to lose weight. Since, I got a muffin top, I can’t preach about shedding the extra pounds. However, you won’t be seeing me eating nachos on my couch while watching Netflix. The thought has crossed my mind many times and I don’t judge those who do.  But I’ve always aimed to live a healthy life expect on Saturday night. This series examines simple cooking tips for a special diet. In the first installment we’ll look closely at the gluten free diet.

After twenty-two years, Canada’s Baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays, are in the playoffs. Though our hearts are filled with joy, it doesn’t change the fact that the cold weather is coming (though I believe in wishful thinking and always hope for a milder winter). Regardless, it’s time for some cozy cuisine for cuddling up in front of the TV (to watch the Jays play, of course). Here are a few easy recipes to warm you up this winter.
