Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

  37. TV viewing is getting better with resolution updates, etc. but I like that LG is also providing Dolby Atmos. The sound is such a big part of movies, so providing this will make viewing even better.

    Because of the 8K, my favourite model is Samsung 55″ 8K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN55Q900RBFXZC). We have room for a “smaller” tv so I love that this one would work for us and provide 8K.

  41. There are a ton of great technology features on the Sony tvs, (and I like that it uses Google Assistant), but I would love to watch sports and movies because of the X-Motion Clarity™ technology providing smooth and realistic action.

    The Sony tv I’d like to own (in my dreams) is Sony 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR65X900F). I’d have to work at leaving my den with this to watch.

  44. I own an old (2014) KDL50W790B 3D Sony tv and it still looks amazing even though it’s only has a 1080P resolution. What I like most is that they will continue to offer an amazing picture with the TRILUMINOS display technology.
