In the last decade we have become a streaming society. Roku has been a huge part of the transition by enabling us to connect a small device to any television to instantly make it capable of showing anything we want to see. Their selection of channels was unmatched by any other streaming service. They added to this experience a few years ago when they improved the onscreen interface and added their own Roku channel. Suddenly you could find old favourites and new favourites quickly in one location.

It makes sense then that the newest iteration of Roku would introduce the ability for us to stream amazing audio too. In fact, when I hooked it up to try it out in my home, the first thing I streamed was Spotify, thinking, “Let’s hear how Eddie sounds on this speaker!” I have to say, Van Halen sounded pretty amazing!

  9. I love there are so many features in the Roku stream bar. You can connect the TV with the regular HDMI and it has a Bluetooth receiver if I want to stream music. There also night mode where I can watch TV without waking people in the house, so I can binge-watch my favorite shows.

  14. The idea of voice activated remote sounds like it comes from the future! My wife would appreciate this. We’ve enjoyed other Roku products quite a bit.

  17. Me and the wife stream our favorite shows and movie nightly and the feature on this Roku Soundbar that attracts me is the night listening option. We can enjoy the sounds and booms without waking or startling the kids. I have to also mention the automatic sound leveling, there is always that YouTube ad that makes you jump because it seems much louder. Thanks for the chance Best Buy!

  24. I think Roku Streambar is the thing everybody should have because you have lots of momie or programs that are available to listen and I love Roku .

  25. This would be perfect to solve my non-smart tv/lack of bluetooth that I’ve been meaning to address for a while but never get around to.

    Love the quiet comercials idea but doesn’t apply to me as I don’t have cable (not sure anyone watches anything with commercials anymore)
    I have to say best thing is just having all the streaming services available through roku and on the remote 🙂

  29. I like the night listening feature. My wife and I are on slightly different schedules these days and this would help avoid waking her up before I go to sleep myself at the end of the day.

  30. I’m already a fan of Roku’s 4K streaming stick, which I use on an LED TV that slightly predates mainstream smart TVs. As that TV has so-so audio, mashing up a Roku 4K with a good quality, small sound bar is really welcome!

  44. I love the Night Listening feature. My husband usually goes to bed before I do, so I have to keep the remote in my hand and change the volume CONSTANTLY! It would be so nice to not have to do that.
