Sphero, Anki, and Oculus make learning magical

There is a huge range of STEM and robotics toys available these days, and the best part is, they’re so much fun to use that kids will enjoy learning.

Sphero creates toys like the BOLT robotic ball to teach kids coding through a block-based visual language. (My personal favourites were Fizzgig from Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal and Pegasus from Disney’s Hercules). On of the hottest toys this year are the Fingerlings Hugs by WowWee. These lovable, interactive critters can say and do over 40 things, and have extra long arms for hugging and hanging around. Hatchimals too, offer children a chance to have their own animal companion.   2. Any one of the kidkraft kitchen or doll house sets would be so wonderful to have at my house. Their products are of good quality and lets the kids feel like they are in their own little world while they are playing. With three autistic grandchildren this would stimulate pretend play.   7. My biological son who lives with his mom most of the time is 13 and he worked odd jobs for months to buy himself a Nintendo switch. Sadly he disobeyed her and took it to school only to have it stolen from his backpack while in P.E. I got engaged in the beginning of September and was recently laid off work. My fiancé has 3 children aged 7,8 and 11. Her 2 oldest are girls and love Hatchimals. Her youngest is a boy that loves Lego. I would love a good quality Drone to or RC car to bring out the kid in me and my Fiancé’s toy she would love to have would be a good quality lens for her camera.

  8. My daughter has asked for a hatchimal for the last two years, this year being her third year asking for one. It has always seemed like a lot of money to spend on a toy that may be forgotten in a toy box in a box. I think the toy would mean so much more to her if she won one after wanting one for so long.

My husband keeps looking at the drones so I know he really wants one but doesn’t want me to even think of buying, it as they are so expensive and the money would be better spent on useful things. I would pick the kid Kraft farm to table play kitchen because when my five kids were young, they spent a lot of time helping me bake, do dishes etc. It was one on one time that made it special, so now I have grandchildren I want to do the same things with them, and to have their own little kitchen would be awesome

  49. KidKraft Disney’s Frozen Ice Castle Dollhouse. My 3 year old granddaughter recently had to leave her doll house behind when they moved from Windsor to Edmonton. It broke her heart, and told her mom if she stayed with nana, she could have kept her elsa house.

  50. This past summer we had a break-in and somebody stole the battery and charger from our son’s ride-on tractor. He SO loved riding around our yard and was so hurt that somebody had stolen something from him. We had received the tractor in used condition for free from a friend. He would be SO excited to be able to ride around on another ride-on toy, especially a two seater like this one so that he could take his little brother for drives!
