Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

  1. My favourite toy is has got to be the X-Wing – “PROPEL SW X WING DRONE CLR ED” if you need specifics! Star Wars probably had a big impact on why I love flying and being a pilot. Anything to do with aviation is something I find really cool! This is probably the closest I’ll ever get to actually flying an X-Wing!

  8. My favorite in these would be the speeder bike. The speeder bike chase in Return of the Jedi was great !! I loved the speed and effects. However If I where to win I think I would go with the BB8 or R2 unit. These would be great at fundraisers and would rely work well with the kids.

  11. My favorite is the PROPEL SW TIE FIGHTER DRONE CLR ED!!!! this is probably the coolest thing I have seen in a very long, long time!!!! I am a huge supporter if the First Order and well lets just say I would absolutely love to fly a real Tie Fighter but as that is impossible at the moment, this would ne the next best thing!!!!! SERIOUSLY the best!!!!

  14. Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid would be the one item my boys would love the most. My boys are really into Star Wars like their daddy.

  20. As much as I love BB-8, I’m an old-school fan, and think that the SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID seals the deal for me. The cats would hate me for bringing him into the house (mostly because there’d be no hiding from his beeps and boops), but either price also brings with it some form of drone, which I’m pretty sure the first flight of would basically get them to pack their bags and move out. Watching Star Wars = happy cats. Participating in Star Wars = not so much.

  23. As an employee of Spin Master, ofcourse my favourite is Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid, it is almost like the life size from the movie. I also love all the Voice recognition and remote control capabilities such as “follow me” functions. Hope to win one!

  31. Definitely the Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid, because 1) who doesn’t want a little BB8 of their own and 2) it seems like it’ll be a lot of fun since it can follow you and has voice recognition.

  32. My favourite is The UBTECH Star Wars Stormtrooper Robot because it looks awesome and accepts voice commands and can even patrol around! There are lots of other great toys in the bundles but that’s the one I find the most amazing and would have a lot of laughs with!

    I’ve always loved the X Wing, one of my all time Star Wars ships.. i bought one that flew from Costco while back but was so hard to keep in the air, so this new one looks awesome!!

My favorite would have to be the littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit because it’s not only a fun and noisy toy I could give my nephew, but since it involves building and interaction it would be something that we could both create and enjoy. He loves to build things and then we play pretend with them afterwards. Perfect gift for a growing mind!

  38. The littlebits Star Wars Inventor kits is my Favorite. I love that the the kids need to use their imagination and hands to build it. Building their skills and feeling proud of themselves is amazing. Learning that a little work will pay off is priceless.

  39. The Propel Star Wars X-Wing Battling Quadcopter Drone would be my favorite. Why? Well piloting around my own X-wing fighter would be a blast and I could practice shooing some womp rats with my son. And when he outgrows his T-16, I would pass along the family X-wing over to him, and then maybe go out and get myself the Tie Fighter drone and have some more fun with him.

  50. My favorite is the LITTLEBITS STAR WARS DROID INVENTOR KIT. My oldest son is just getting into playing and building with robotics and this would put him over the Moon. Combining imagination, creativity, and STAR WARS! Absolutely amazing.
