Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

  3. The Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is definately my favourite! Why, you ask? For starters, it’s just got to be the best one of the prizes! How awesome would it be to train, in VR, with the lightsaber & Beacon? The future really is here with this one!
    I’m sure we would all be fighting for time on it at my house. I’m a mom to 3 SUPER STAR WARS fans, and a wife to the biggest Star Wars fan/kid ever! What a Christmas morning it would be to win one of these prizes and have it all under the tree.

  6. I think the Propel Star Wars TIE Fighter Advanced Battling Quadcopter Drone looks awesome. I’d like to win it because I’ve had a hard time controlling drones before, and this one has a beginner mode. I could battle with my son 🙂

  7. I would have to say that my favourite toy would be SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID. R2-D2 has been one of my favourite characters fromthe beginning, without ever saying an actual word he is able to show emotion. Now being able to watch the movies with him and see him react would be awesome.

  8. my favorite toy in the prize pack for my daughter is the Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid, because it is one apropriate for her age. I think she would love to have a little robot that follows her around and recognizes her voice. my favorite toy is the R2-D2 app enabled droid, because R2 -D2 is so cute, it would be like having your own little robot, and even better R2 D2

  13. I would say the xwing. Iv only ever had 1 remote control flyer in my life and I ended up crashing it into power lines so needless to say that was short lived. But now I can use to force to nagivagate away from those objects!!! Or just learn how to steer better which ever is easier.

  19. Propel Star Wars X-Wing Battling Quadcopter Drone!!!! As a child it was my favorite toy to zip around the room pretending it was actually flying so this would be like relieving my childhood with it actually flying! I am also a fan of flying drones and this is a way cooler version!

  30. My favourite toy from this line up is the littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit!! I’m a pretty creative guy and I would love to tinker around and make my own droid! It’s pretty exciting that this level of engineering is so accessible to the public now!

  36. Who hasn’t wanted their own R2? My favourite toy is definitely the Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid. I’ve been a Star Wars fan longer than I can remember. It would be so cool to be able to have my own droid and actually interact with it instead of just having it stand there and look nice like my lego sets.

    Who hasn’t dreamed of actually weilding a Lightsaber since they first saw Star Wars!?

    That type of technology…apart from the life size replica’s with authentic sounds is about as close as one will get to weilding a lightsaber!

    Lets not kid ourselves, waving around the authentic ones can get difficult in tighter spaces! Ha Ha Ha

  41. PROPEL SW X WING DRONE CLR ED, no argument, my favourite toy in the line up. Why? A drone is like the adult version of remote controlled helicopters you bought by RC as a kid. Drones are such a cool and new technology. And the fact that it’s shaped like an X-Wing is just the cherry on top!

  42. The Sphero Star Wars BB-8 App-Enabled Droid is my favourite! I immediately fell in love with BB-8 when I first saw the movie. I would love to have a little robotic companion to play around with. I like toys that are interactive – not that models and display figures aren’t fun, I’m just still a kid at heart!

  44. All of them are great but I’m most excited about the LittleBits Starwars Droid Inventor Kit. I’ve always wanted to build my own robot but of course resources are scarce. Now that I have my own son and nephews this is a great way to fufill a dream and to bond with them in this technologically advanced age.
