Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

  1. The little bits R2 because it looks like a lot of fun and I could do it with my kids, I have Star Wars statues that just sit there would be sweet to have something we could play with.

The grown up in me says the LITTLEBITS STAR WARS DROID INVENTOR KIT is the most sensible gift, as my son has motor delays, and the fine motor manipulation this would require is like physio without the boredom. But, the more fun grown up in me says LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES is the best – and therefor my fave – because it would help confirm my suspicion that *I* am actually the last Jedi.

  8. The LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES. A VR system letting you train using a light sabre would be really cool. Plus it is close to the training Luke had at the beginning.

  10. Jedi Challenges would fulfil a dream since I was 5 years old and saw Star Wars in the drive through. Lightsaber battles and Jedi training. It is an elegant weapon.

  11. The BB8 RC is the one I want. BB8 just keeps on rolling no matter what. Gotta love that! BB8 became my new favourite droid the first time I saw it.

  17. I am literally shaking at the thought of seeing my 7 year old sons face if I could bring all of these home. The Lenovo Star Wars Jedi Challenges would be at the top of our list. Why? simply because we made a pact together after watching the first star wars film that we would find a way to join the Academy together and bring honor to the Universe. This would allow us to complete our training. It is very Wow oh my goodness this prize is unbelievable.

  31. It has to be the storm trooper smart watch. It can take photos and hold over 1600 photos. I love the special effects and the size of the screen. Yes I know it is designed for the youth market but it would be a lot of fun and would go great with my R2D2 carry on luggage. 🙂

    First off, thank you for hosting this contest! Second, I can not tell you how excited I would be to win an R2D2 app enabled droid! I have always loved my droids more than any Jedi or Sith. When I was a kid I had a piggy bank that the r2d2 would move when you put money on it and it was the most high tech thing I owned! To have this version would like reliving a modern day high version of my childhood.

  40. It’s gotta be the Lenovo Star Wars Jedi Challenges…. Imagine, being able to hold a lightsaber and test your reflexes and skills. That would be pretty awesome.   41. My favourite Star Wars toy is the Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App Enabled Droid. I love this toy because R2-D2 is my favourite character of all time in any series. I love the idea of my own R2-D2 that I can control with my phone 🙂

  44. I like the Littlebits Droid inventors kit. It is my favorite because I have been teaching my son about electronics and he enjoys building things. This toy seems to encompass both of those things.

  48. I would love to have the littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit. In a world that it’s so driven buy kids being stuck to screens it’s great to get them interested in using there hands with those screens to be creative, collaborative, and use problem solving. I would have a blast giving this to my daughter to play and learn with.
